PuTTe_TuTTeSorry if this have been asked before but... If you win a car in a after a race or a license, can you then drive the same race/license and win the car again? (would be quite god if you change your mind after selling a car that you cant buy)

The series races [that I've played so far] allow you to "reset" and play again for prize money and prize car. When winning a licence prize car, they give you a little note saying you cannot win again. [or something like that]
Resetting the series is a cool feature.

Only in a championship series. Not possible in just a single race.

Used car lot names are different in the US release... All three are there, but they now have different names.

Check the read this before you ask thread and theres a link to the prize car list for the Asian version, the US version is I think almost completely the same, only you get bonus cars for completing certain percentages of the game and the Auto Union for the Grand valley 300.
I didnt feel to make a thread about two questions i have, so i hope i can get them answered here.
1. why does it show a lower HP rating durring the replay of a race? Its been bugging me for a while and i keep thinking my settings arent being saved.
2.I recently got the Mazda 6concept(i think) and i tried entering in the beginnner drivetrain raced i.e. FF, FR,...ect. and it wouldnt qualify in any one of them. I went to the garage to look at its drivetrain info, and all I saw was --. My question is are cars with missing info barred from entering races with requirments, although they meet them, its not stated in their info?

I just found out that when you save your game to a second memory card for a safety backup, all your cars but the one you're in are gone after shutting off the PS2. I could have sworn they were there before shutting off the PS2, but I'm not 100% sure.

1.It was like that in GT3 aslo. Try saving the replay in GT3, and it showed yet a third and different HP rating. Weird, huh?regulate
2. I think you mean the Mazda 6 Mazdaspeed, and I find it very odd that PD didn't have its drivetrain style listed. I can't come up for a reason for this, but I think it happens more than once.

---I saw the one for japan, and its really nice because you can sort it and such, but the only problem i have with it is the credits. the credits are different. is there an equaility of the credits like 1 million to japan is 1 thousand in US version? is there something like that? could u tell me what it is?

On GT4's aspec mode, on the HUD, what do the colors of your tires in the bottom left corner represent? I was assuming they were related to the temp; blue - cold; green - optimum...so on...
Any thoughts or corrections?

what is PS? is that HP (horse power), or is there anotehr conversion i am going to have to make?

The colours are the tyres wear, they go from blue - light blue - green - light green - yellow - orange - red.
Blue is new and un-worn.
Green is whent he tyres have warmed up and are at the best performance.
Yellow is usually still good but when performance starts to get worse.
Orange and Red are pit in and change the tyres because they're worn.

sthanks live4speed, ure a lot of help, i found a US car list on here by famine so i should be fine now.
Dont know if anyone has asked this before......but what cars are you guys using for the special conditions races? mainly the hard wet ones ( tsukuba wet hard)
i had to go against a bentley speed 8 race car and it whooped me, so i got out my clk race car and a mazda 787b whooped me again!

Does the gt3 steering wheel work for gt4? Cause i found 1 for 20 bucks, refurbished with a warranty.

uh no not on the car thing if i get golds on all the tests for one license i ger 3 cars??

Yeah I have the American ver. No cheats! Are there any?? I've finished all beginner and all professional - last championship race. I'm using the le mans merc gtr but man the AI is really tough. I'm not a newbie but so far my best is 3rd in any race let alone winning the championship! If u know what to do please let me know.
