I searched for this question and cannot find the answer....and didn't have time to read through all the pages of this thread.

Does anyone know if garage cars from GT Mode can be used in Arcade Mode like GT-3? I do not see an option for your garage and I didn't know if you had to complete a certain percentage in GT Mode or if you had to win a certain amount of races in Arcade to unlock your personal garage.

I thought I read that you can use your garage in the manual, but I can't figure it out in the game.

You can use cars from your GT mode garage in arcade mode in the US and PAL versions of GT4, but only for multiplayer games not for the single player races. However in the GT mode you can take part in a single race against similar opposition on any track anyway.

I have the US version...so the only way I can use my Garage cars is if I have a two player battle or LAN? I wonder why you cannot use them for single races or time trials? The only reason I ask is it is nice when you have 10 minutes to kill you can hop in arcade and find a car you made and like and hop right to a race, no searching around to find if the car will be competitive or how many laps it is going to be, yada, yada, yada...

As I said you can still do that, but in the GT mode. On the map screen theres 4 icons each representing the 4 choices of track type you see in arcade mode. In each of thoes you choose a track and then what you awnt to do, free run, family cup (race) or whatever. It doesn't take any longer than loading arcade mode and doing it that way, it's no different exept it's still in the GT mode. as for making sure your car is competitive, as I said in the post you quoted, the races are against similar competition.

In GT3 when you beat each level like beginner or normal or whatever with all golds, you got a prize car. I beat beginner hall and i got nothing. Is there some kind of prize for each hall?

Is their any way to view detailed information about the cars you race against in GT mode races? I'm stuck on the pro classic cup. I started with some old skyline only to find myself in stuck in second place, ahead of all the other junk but behind a Mercury Cougar XR-7. So i went and grabed me a 69 Camaro SS only to once again find myself stuck in second as the Cougar had now become an AC cobra. So, I saved up some cash, and bought me A Shelby Cobra only to find that the afore mentioned AC cobra seems faster than before.

Can anyone tell me about how much hp I am going to need to win this race, and/or how can I find out how much that AC is running?

Ok..so I'm stupid and I know it, but with that being said.....

How do you switch players in the Gran Turismo mode? I havent had a chance to start my own guy, but everytime I turn on the game it auto loads my roomates guy and I cant figure out how to sign him off so I can start my own. Can you even have two people doing G.T. Mode with out two different memory cards?

I tried making a thread about it a couple of days ago, I guess it didn't get approved, but I took a car around the Test Course in reverse, and the miles didn't go up nor down, just stayed the same the entire way through. Just in case anyone was curious what going in reverse did :-P

The car list https://www.gtplanet.net/gt4/car_list/get_cars.php is wrong! for ntsc/us version. At least for the special event listing. Because I won the cadilliac cien on the 2nd easy rally race.
