Please, stop being ridiculous. If something is new regarding GT4 I'll post it. I haven't being doing this frequently so don't make stuff up. It wasn't bull****, it was new information that somebody might be able to read an explain what it's about. There are people from Japan and people who can read Japanese here at GTPlanet. Just because nobody was game to explain what it was doesn't make it useless. Also, please try to act a little less obnoxiously. Thanks. :)

I'm sorry for being retarted, but I'm in VW in Germany, and i see a bunch of GTI's but no MK1 GTI. Theres a Golf V GTI '05 FF 197 HP and a Golf IV R32 '03 247HP 4WD... Im dumb, please specify which one

Edit: crap, you're in the UK, i just realized that. Sorry man, but hey, i guess you'll have the opportunity to find out tomorrow. Don't make a serious game save, just buy the thing and calculate the hp yourself, then delete the gamesave and start a new one. That should help you decide whether or not you want that GTI

In Special Conditions Hall you get a 5 second penalty for hard hitting walls and AI car (+40 mph).
You can nudge other car and light hit walls, but hitting other car in back end always gets 5 sec. penalty (at lest it does for me).
First "Rally d' Umbria" is extremely challanging, Street course-narrow streets and tight corners. Learn course & practice, practice, practice.

Second, im low on cash but have lots of garge cars and i can't seem to compete in the GT championship in the professional events.

Some of those cars are 4.5 Million credits. ANy idea what cars can compete and that are cheap???

Yeah, like he said. But these 5s penalties are easily the worse thing ever devised, because the AI driver doesn't get them, and if he runs into you, you will get a penalty, especially when he hits you into something. Three times last night I got rammed in the ass on the final turn of the 1st rally on normal and lost because of that crap.

1. Wheel force feedback Pro. ?
2. Go to 2nd Rally Easy-Special Conditions Hall (2 races=2X5,000 cr., win car= 265,000 cr.) or go to German touringwagon (european hall) win 5 races, win car=900,000 cr.
3. If you do no. 2 you can buy any car you want to win GT Championship, I used a Mod. Ford GT won without any problems.

You slow down to +/- 30 mph. where as the AI car keeps trucking along.
Only for Special Conditions Hall (Rally Races) and Mission Hall, All other Halls (Beginner, Professional, Extreme, Endurance) are like GT3 no penalty for hitting walls or cars.

On one hand it is realistic for Special, cause if you crash in that environment you ahve to get abck on the track and in the right line, an dfor missions its also acceptable, cause like in GTA:San Andreas, if you make mistakes in a mission you get the trouble right on your nose.

But the reason why i started this question was becasue i heard of the penalty thing, but yesterday i saw a movie of GT4 where someone is crashing "deadlylike" and could drive further.

Because using codes is cheating. I don't think it's "wrong". But I just choose to do it the long way.

LOL, this is quite funny. YOu post something, people call you on it, then you get an attitude. Your announcement seemed to have great flair and excitement with it. So one would think that you were happy about it and are currently using the codes.

by the time many of you will be reading this i will be one of the first in AUS to get GT4. if this game is anywhere as good as i hope i would pay $300 for it. i cant see why PD had to tell us that it was going to out before christmas. i' ve been ticking days off my calender for 4 months. i printed out a list of every car in the gae (5 pages) and highlighted the cars i was going to get.

Man i need a life

A Try using the "Up" button while racing. if that doesnt turn the ghost off, then you probably have to go to options. If that doesnt work, then sorry, no luck for you

B You can only used tuned cars in 2-player battle. There is a 1 and 2 button for each memory card slot to load cars from. Can't use that against cpu tho
 
I have an idea for a new thread, but am hesitant to make it. I want to know how many people who golded EVERYTHING so far in GT4 used the wheel, or used the DS2, because I can get a few golds in GT4, but I think it would be near impossible for me to get all of them gold, plus the driving missions are a pain

i haven't tried going for gold in GT4 yet, but i got my golds for GT3 with the DS2.

the driving missions that are a pain, are the ones where you have to wait like 50+ seconds to start, cuz if you screw up 10 seconds into the race, you gotta wait again.

however, i've found most of them pretty fun. i especially liked the paris one in the peugot 206.

the new york reverse in the toyota, and the seattle circuit with the plymoth, however, are not so fun. slow slow slow...
