I'm not sure where to post this, but can someone recommend some websites, which will help me understand the Gran Turismo mode better and will give me tips on what upgrades to buy for my car and so on?

Coming back to Le Sarthe, 23 hours in, and seeing you have only 1 (one) tick left on your fuel, and you are just turning onto the backstretch! :crazy:

Luckily, it was enough to get me around to pit once more :dopey:

Minolta Toyota, Super hard tires, Steady setting, overtake set. 7 laps between pitstops, always only 1 tick left on the fuel.

Things that'll make you PO'd... :grumpy: :

Leaving for the day at the Ring, with a 3 minute lead, gaining about 1/4 second a lap on second, everyone else 1-many laps down, everything working as it should...

only to come back and find that you have finished in 2nd. :indiff: :grumpy:

Only thing I could think of, was that someone blocked the pit entrance and I got caught out and ran out of gas.
 
Le Sarthe II 34 second lead at 6 hour mark, leave for work.
Come back to find your in 2nd +2:58 minutes behind first.
On 3 (steady) with overtake on. :mad: :banghead:

My Car Nissan R92 1193hp. got beat by Sauber :grumpy:

has anyone beaten the honda odessey on the test track, slipstream on mission # 21, if how? i seem to only get 2nd at best, any help or info to beat this.. :ill:

Another easy way to do it if you're in in automatic is to hold the R2 button so that you stay in 4th gear and don't shift to 5th. That way you can catch up to the 2nd place car alot easier when you're in his stream!

Hi.

I've got a question. I've seen GT4 today on to identical tv's. GT4 looked on the other tv more grainy than on the other tv. What reason could it be?

I'll play GT4 on a tv with 75Hz. How can I boost the quality?
 
What are the tracks you find in the GT4 game that are existing in the real life?
I know the well known but I'm pretty sure I'm missing some...

If you have a list to show to me, I will be the happiest person (I hate to race on unreal tracks)

I won Le Sarthe I on Level 3 steady. On Level 4 the Nissan R92 would skid off course. That was with R4 tires in Front and R3 on back tires. But great for you, that you beat it with F1 car (lighter) then say the same type of car like rest of field.
 
You have to buy the mercedes slr mclaren and fully tune. after that it has about 886hp. you can buy it for about 610,000 credits but after the tuning it is worth it. It is the bomb. I have been able to achieve a top speed of over 250mph on the mulsanne straight in the circuit de la sarth. It has awsome handling and mass acceleration. The brakes aren't that good but i was able to fix that by messing with the brake balance. It is a awsome car! 👍 :)

I used the Idiot AI code to solve those long B-Spec Races, I wanted a win and that's what you will get!!!👍
 
Ok so who's smart idea was it to make the default setting for the playback on the licence tests the multi colour, sweeping camera mode. Alright so it looks cool, but the ONLY reason you look at the replay on the tests is to study where the break points are. With this as default you have to quickly press the Square button, to get the dials on, than press the X to get it to the front view. All a before the car gets to start of the first breaking zone.
It's beginning to get really annoying, especially on the more complex tests.
 
I am working on gt4 non stop but now I have come to a wall I just can't seem to get over. I have every race done exept for one. And I cannot beat it for anything. In the special conditions hall Tsukuba Hard. I can't do it. I've tried and tried. Can anyone tell me witch car to use and/or witch tires to use bacause nothing I try seems to work. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I've got a question about the sound, well more or less a sound issue im having. I've got a Sony MHC-ZX70 Stereo hooked on my PS2, it supports 5.1 surround and Prologic, but nog Prologic II so I've set my GT4 to Stereo in the Sound Options.
When hovering above the starting grid the engine sounds are really loud, but as soon as im in the bumperview it gets way way softer. If im looking behind while driving I can hear the sound of the muffler and when looking in front the sound of the engine. When I switch to mono sound in the options, the engine and muffler sounds are combined, which is a bit unreallistic but it sounds way better if you ask me.

Is everyone experiencing this?
 
the whole paint shop thing...I have 6000+ a-spec and never seen it.

In the FAQ articles that talk about a-spec they are of the opinion that all a-spec does is measure how much you are challenging yourself. running a race with a car that is completely maxed out and getting 1 point vs. a race that you have a weaker car and may get 200pts.

You can choose an wing , also i believe an different set of wheels, and later you can do the usual tyre, suspension,weight reduction ect. things, also you can stiffen the chassis and you can improve the used car chassis so the car is more like new, and has better handling.

You can buy a car off the tuner company which is pimped out

my s2k always has its top down except when im in a race with other cars. why is that? even in the spider and roadster cup it and all the other vertibles are top up. is there a way i can race with top down?

Can I ask a question............I bought some second hand wheels for my VW Lupo......where did my stock ones go!!! I can't find them anywhere or change them back.........also, can I use the wheels I bought on all cars or just this one...

please help me find my missing stock wheels! :ill:
 
I think the original wheels are lost when you buy new wheels.
Just hope that Lupo wheels appear in there some time.

Win the 24 hr Nurburgring race to win the F1 car, then enter and win the formula championship (I think its called?) in extreme hall. It has 15 endurance-like races, in which you win 100,000 cr for each race, and if you win the championship, you win 3,000,000 credits and the sauber

my s2k always has its top down except when im in a race with other cars. why is that? even in the spider and roadster cup it and all the other vertibles are top up. is there a way i can race with top down?
 
The model of the car with the top down is more complex, harder to render for the PS2.... so that is why you can't race it with 5 other cars. It would probably have slowed the framerate down so much that they decided not to make it possible to race like that.
 
If you race in any race except spider and roadster race, the top should be down.

In the spider and roadster races, the PS2 can't handle all the roofs being down at the same time, and it throws a wobbly.
