Hello! Could someone please tell me, where can I get Toyota Celica 1600GT ('70)? I tried search, but i wasn't lucky

Used Cars Classics, I believe.

Well, I'm almost 40% done now, andloving it. I just started to think that something was missing.....

Certain tracks! I'm shocked/saddened they didn't bring back:

Red Rock Valley Speedway
Green Forest Roadway
Grindelwald
Complex String

I enjoyed these tracks.

I'm glad they left out:

Route 11

Track Thoughts...

They changed Deep Forest track, near the back, before the backstreach...it's not as long...feels wierd. They fixed Grand Valley...much more fluid, as is Route 5.

I like Korea.
New York is OK.
The "ring" seems as wide as my driveway.
the Fujis are OK except the F1 version. (How much tarmac can there be in the world?)
El Capitan has to be the best all around track in the game
LeMans is fun(Speed is fun)

Got the game yesterday and in the first races, found there was no qualifying!

Someone please tell me the whole game isn't like that! I hated GT2 starting from last all the time and wept with joy when they brought it back for GT3. If they've 'lost' it again for 4, then my copy is going back to the shop

I have a problem with GT4, has anyone heard of anything like this before?

I bought a Mitsi Lancer GSR and then changed the oil then took it to the sunday cup. Easily won the 5 a spec point race then moved on the next race. Something weird started happening, my car wouldn't get out of third gear. Hmmm. I still managed to win but hmmmm. So I start the third race and it is a standing start as opposed to a rolling start like the last two races. The lights go green and...........................
The GSR sits there, showing full throttle but the revs aren't changing. Hmmm once more. Retry race to same result. Hmmm. Try next race and it is a rolling start. Once more car won't get out of 3rd gear or accelerate at all. I slow down for the first corner, already way behind, shift down to 2nd and it won't get out of second gear.

So I come straight to GTP for answers if any. Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

Edit: This happens in every car I try, on every track and in every mode.

maybe you could try the old computer trick: restart the game, i mean turn it off with the switch on the back of the ps2. only suggestion i have

Good point I shoud have done that before asking, it seems to have worked though. I still don't know why it happened in the first place.

When you are on the screen where you choose A-spec/B-spec you can choose to practice. Practice is qualifying.

When you are on the screen where you choose A-spec/B-spec you can choose to practice. Practice is qualifying.

The only races that allow you to "Practice" are the series, not the single races.
identified by the "Silver GT cup" like in GT3. Look at German Touringwagon -European Hall that is Series, now look at MR Only -Begineer's Hall that is Single Races.

Sorry, but not every race class has "Practice".

Is that also called the AutoUnion Slipstream?

1. in the semi first person view, what the hell is up with the retarded looking hood? why didn't they make that view look like it would actually look if you were driving the car? dash board, steering wheel etc.

2. not that anyone would agree, but I think that Pontiac Fieros should be in this game. it might not be the coolest car, but it is a rare, american, mid-engine, rear-wheel drive car. i just think it would make a nice addition, a good equal to the MR2

I also enjoyed complex string or at least the section that you had to do in the porsche in the S license of gt3.👍

What can you do with the earned a-spec points? i drive every race winning at least 100 points. keep things thight. what is you guys average?

Only 1 endurance left, 24 hr le sarthe I, some driving missions, and some manufacturer races, then 100% ... already. I think I used B-spec too much, but whatever. I mostly do this to unlock all the cars and then race over once I get what I want. License test golds are going to suck, but driving missions are gonna be a major pain.

i enjoy the a-spec mode too much to play b-spec... so must take a year for me playing till 100%

Keep your car as steady as possible (dont steer too much to the right or left if you don't need to), stay behind opposing cars as long as you can, without bumping into them, and making a pass before you hit them. NEVER let go of the accelerator.

Staying behind cars makes it so that there is no air resistance against your forward acceleration, instead, the air resistance all goes to the car in front of you.

Also, if you use the X button, don't. It is pressure sensitive, and every now and then, you don't get the full throttle effect, so instead, use the right analog stick pointed, UP.

If you already knew my two tips, sorry, I have no intentions to make you sound stupid or anything, and hope you get that 👍

Use directional pad or left analog stick to toggle between front & rear tires, fuel and A-spec/B-spec mode.
Do you have or have bought different tires for your car?
