1) I've found the Merc CLK to be best. And it's superior on the staights too;).
2) I'm unsure about the TCS/ASM, but I'm 70% sure it can't be turned off.

Enjoy.

The CLK DTM is a great car, any of the modern DTM's can win the DTM series with ease, if you want a challenge buy or win an old one, the slowest DTM car is the Merc E190 EVO II DTM. Also you win the Mercedes CLK-GTR for the DTM series, not a bad prize at all, don't go thinking it can spank the LMP and Group C cars though, the GT1 class cars just arn't quite as quick.

what is the competition like in the 24h hour races? like what kind of cars are you up against, any certain cars that you recomend I use? 💡 what combination of tires should I use too?

I've been searching but can't find the answer to this question, though I know it's there. What do you do to show up a steering wheel on the screen?

Cheers,
Thanh Ha

EDIT: found it in the Shortcut keys thread, but doesn't work for me...

If you're going to Bspec the races, use any LM car (super hard tires front and back) on Nurburgring and you should win it by so many laps, you'll be amazed. The LeSarthe races are a harder though. So win Nurburgring first, since its so much easier, then use the F1 you win from there in LeSarthe I and II. Set the speed at 4 throughout the whole race, and your F1 should give you a victory :)

I used the Minolta Toyota for the Nurburgring and was up against JGTC cars. AFter a few laps I B'specd it being right behind the second car to lap him for the second time. I woke in the morning to find that my idiot B Spec driver musnt have passed anyone and had been unlapped and almost caught by the second car. After a few more laps A spec and many more in B I won the race by about 9 laps. I had him on slow pace (1) most of the time, (still a hell of a lot faster than any of the other cars), and while I was supervising him would press over take for just enough time to get past. You would thing considering the huge difference in speed he would over take on any of the straights, but no he just sits there unless you tell him to overtake. Leaving overtaking on meant that he got about 2 laps less on tyre wear.

Just a quick question changing the subject.. I'm doing the F1 Championship race. Does it make any difference whether you get all golds in the championship or not to what car you win at the end? And is this true for all championships that you can race "all-at-once"?

In championship the only thing that matters are points. In the end you must have most points of the bunch (at least 1 more than 2nd placed man). If you have same points as 2nd placed man, you will not win. So you don't need to win all races, but at least few of them and a bunch of good places. The races you dodn't win during championship you can re-do later as single races in order to complete 100%. The prize for winning a champiosnship is allways same car, no matter wheter you win all or not all races.

I don't understand exactly what you mean by "all-at-once", but you can quit championship any time. Unfortunatelly you'll have to start form beginning. The only thing you don't loose, if you quit championship is scores from single races you've done. Also - you can simply quit one race in a champiosnhip, if you're sure you won't win it, and skip to the next one. Unfortunatelly you won't get any points from that race and competitors will.

Sorry I wasn't that clear. You've answered my question though cheers :) By "all-in-one" I just meant the races you can do as a championship (where you win points - like the F1 race), compared to those that you have to do the races one by one to complete that category (i.e. sunday cup). Does that make any more sense lol?

I can't seem to download the full book zip file, can someone plpease host it on yousendit.com for me?

I don't wanna be rude or anythiong, but ... zip doesn't work, but all single files do. download those and don't be lazy. I'm sure zip should just contain all of those. :)

and to be honest - he just listed those files in reply, not the zip file ;).

edit:
Well I took a look and have some questions. Is it supposed to be PAL or NTSC version of bible? In the car list at the bottom there is no Volvo S60, which is in my PAL game, prize cars are not listed, there is no prize car for 75%, ...

those are just some things I saw in first look ...

If you have an request just ask me, and i will make the photo(for you're desktop) I also like the Bentley the most, because of its stabile behavior and the low tyre wear. But the Audi R8 is just a little bit prettiyer i think.(The green could be better)

No Zandvoort should be edited to GP standards and then they will need to include(Tarzan rocks)
I love motorsports too, F1, MOTOGP ect.
