Question : Is there anyway to take a photomode pictures in Citta Di Aria with 2 players? Because i saw a lot.

Save the replay from 2-player mode, then go to replay theater. Replay theater is your best friend when it comes to photomode races 👍

I have (honestly!) searched for, but can't find.... I saw a thread a long time ago that mentioned what the drivers (when in a convertable) fireproof overalls colour means!?

For example... there are 3 (as I recall) colours. You start with white, then as you get better, it changes to ????? orange I think, then goes blue maybe... anyone know this?

Thanks :)

We can't save replay from 2 players...

For create an avatar, you must have at least 100 posts..

Does anybody what role or variable mileage will play in this installment. Because im getting kind of worried that im putting to many miles on my minolta and formula gran turismo...
Please respond ASAP

I will drop the power on most cars by about 5-10% eventually oil changes wont bring it back as high as it originally could have gone, you rformula Gran Turismo is unaffected, your Minolta is not. The difference won't stop you winning races with the car though, make sure you refresh the chassis whenever it's needed though as well, if you crash too much or just from over usage.

I remember me and my mates used to have time trials on Complex String in GT3. We had 3 Classes defined by default car settings, (semi-racing suspension, Stage 1 lightened, any sports tires, racing brakes, Full Custom box, double clutch, Racing Flywheel and propeller shaft if applicable) and broken into 3 groups of Hp. limits.
C class was 250 hp,
B class was 400 hp,
A was 600 hp.
These power figures were the maximum you could have to be in each class, the methods of engine modding were free range, just dont exceed the power figure being the only rule.
This spewed forth months and months of various cars being used, all of us tuning away to beat whoever had the best times in the respective class, or trying to own more than one class. There was no price limit meaning we would see cars ranging from Rufs battling gtr's, to hottet up silvias vs Mercs on an often even plyaing ground also learning a lot about an array of cars in the proccess.
We used to Call it the "String Street car festival" (no LM's or race cars allowed)

There is a similar thing going on in a thread about the 1/4 mile, with a 30K limit and although this is an interesting challenge, I feel the cars are limited to the typical Evos and WRX's gunning for the top spot.
The beauty of the string, or say any other track, is that a 4wd is not always going to be the fastest. (especially with the length some ppl go with their tuning.)
If we could get a thread up and going with similar motives to "Street String" (albeit without the much missed string) using tracks decided monthly by a poll, or any similar idea, It might possibly add another facet to the already seemingly boundless gameplay available.

I know Id be keen..

P.S thanks to the person responsible for the 1/4 mile thread for sparking my memory and imagination.

I used to do that all the time, albeit by myself. I'd spend an entire day with one car on the complex string just trying to perfect my technique and time. I say you've never lived until you've spent four hours driving non-stop just to shave a few milliseconds off of your lap time. I didn't spend so much time tuning and often when I found a car I thought would be interesting to drive, I'd take it to the string and run on super-slick tires and leave all else stock.

I think that you're idea would be awesome. I just got GT4 a few days ago, and I'd love to participate in this idea of yours. Perhaps, if it were run all stock with tires being the only change, I think it would be tons of fun. You could even have one-make races like this and change every few weeks. The possibilities are limitless!

👍 For reminding ME of the Complex String! I miss that course.

start the thread then. it is a great idea. im up for it.

You can. The Piazza appears regularly in the 80's used car lot.
I've seen the Bellet there before now as well.

To all NTSC/Asia user (or anyone who knows the answer):

Does the beginning of your replay shows the car make/model/hp/tires/mode? Mine doesn't and I don't see any options for it... 👎

For example: (black screen right before the actual replay)

AMG Mercedes 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II Touring Car - '92

376BHP RSH/RSH License S-16

Also, what the fell are all my time trail "best lap" replays cutoff a second before the car reaches the finish line? :banghead:
