I watch ALM, an some ILM, it's awesome! And an answer to the first of your double posts (:ouch:), the GSX drives kinda like an Elise 111R, but you can do more with it.

No, I only have AIM. I might get it because so many people here have it, but none of my other friends from around here have it, so I'm in a little bit of a bind.

Anyway, I have driven the 7, and it's pretty good. There are better cars, like the Nissan R92CP or the 89-C, but it's still very good. I haven't driven the Tank Car yet, but I hear it is a pig to drive.

I watched about 3 hours of it, and got the rest of info online. Awesome that the R10 won in LMP and overall, and that Team Corvette won yet another race!

The Tank Car, well, has 900 Bhp, weighs 3500Kg, and maxes out at 160Mph, can't turn very well, and you can't enter it in races.

If you had Motors TV, then they showed the WHOLE race live. It was amazing, as I managed to go last year, which was good, but had to watch at home this year because of exams. I also went to the Classic this year, which goes up to 1979 cars, like Porsche 911's with three-second turbo lag.

It's a lot like driving the QE2.

Quick question, Why is it that you can never hear the engine on RUFs?
That's strange, I think a the Ruf's with mods including exhaust Mods sounds great, I mean Awesome! It's got to be a audio problem with your system.

No, it's because the engines are in the back, and in first person view, you can't hear it because the camera is placed somewhere like the bumper.

Yeah George is right. The RUF's (which are tuned up Porsches) are RR except for the 3400S and the Yellow Bird, so the engine is at the back of the car, where the boot is. This is why you can't hear it, because the camera is on the bumper. You can hear it though it you press L1 to look behind though... :D

Yeah that makes sense. Cheers. Its annoying though because you cant hear when to change gear.

Shame engine note does not increase with the level of weight reduction.

The Yellow Bird has its engine hanging off the back of the car as all 911's do. So it is a RR drive train car. The 3400S is based on the Boxter and realises a Mid engine concept to premote better handling.

I find it annoying when PD doesn't put what the drive train is in for each car though. It is obviously modelled in the game, so why not just tell us.

Holy hell!

I'm being near-quoted by a B-Spec driver...

*dons tin foil hat*

I see...

I've wondered what drivetrain the older Nissan Cube is. I assume it's FF, since I've never been bored and depressed enough to try it.

Try it in Arcade Mode. At the very top of the screen, right before you choose A or B spec, you'll get the drive type for any car, even those not listed in GT Mode.

Another way to find out (some of) the powertrain but in GT mode is to buy a Custom LSD, then take a trip to the world of Ramp Angles. (Set up screen for the car!) and see if you can alter the front or rear or both axles of the car.

Many DTM cars are listed as (--) for drive train, when they are FR's. (I only have a few DTM's on my save and the E190 Benz and the Audi TT-R are both FR's for sure. )

Does the oil guy have some pattern according to drive train?

Can I ask most probably a simple question answered in a myriad of strings I couldn't pull up, I suck at search engines apparently. What is the absolute max on A-spec points? And a side note, has anyone attained, if not , who's ranked highest? I'm just starting to get good wins over 100pts, learning I am.

Just read my post and realized, someone, someone, might read it the wrong way. What is max A-spec points total in the game, not per race.

XJR-9 i do have motors TV, its like the best channel ever but some programs are a bit poo like all the french things or all the steam train classics etc but i watch about 18 hours of the race (3 quarters) the rest of the time i went out with friends for a few hours whilst it was about mid-race time. it was a good race but you have to feel bad for aston martin losing GT1 after leading for so long due to gearbox troubles.
the R10 had to have a gearbox re-build tho lol and pescarolo aswell with the second car finishing so far down compared to the first car which finished in between the 2 audis.
corvette did do well tho and the car did look stunningly good

happy gaming :)

Well let me say this right now: I don't know. But I do know a formula to find out. Number of races in GT4 x 200 = total A-spec points. And on that note, I will find out for you.
