You don't seem to be learning anything from what they've been telling you...

I can't understand a word you're saying here, so PLEASE use better grammar.

How long will B-spec drive it? I don't know. What race is it? Are you driving the Formula cup? I don't know what you're asking...

What the F... are you trying to say??

I understand your frustration, but please do not try and get around the swear filter (even if you did not intend to), as I seriously doubt its going to help the member in question explain themselves any better.

Thanks

Actually there are some available on that 4 letter auction site, Some fourms don't like there name posted, They run from $1.00 to $15.00US

You mean eBay?

Discontinued = No longer made by manufacturer. If people are selling them on eBay that has nothing to do with whether they're still made or not. Like the PS2 Network Adapter.

Who cares if there made still or not??? He wanted to find one, "The not made anymore was your reply, If you look closer you can see that he posted not concern of them being manufactured, Looks more like what and where?

"Oh stewardess?"

Seriously - what are you talking about now?

I got the message and no confusion/mistake about discontinued items or so... I've already searched both on eBay!!

Thanks, Famine

No problems.

It might be worth a note that people tend to prefer the XPort/Sharkport to the MaxDrive. The MaxDrive's interface is slightly more complex and many people blame it for corrupting GT4 gamesave data (though it's not a theory I ascribe to, having used both without issues).

If you're after a 'Port, the Sharkport is the North American device (and so can also be used on Japanese consoles) and the XPort is the "rest of the world" device.

Another thing to note that, in my opinion, is very important...

You need a USB flash drive to do transfers with the Maxdrive.
With the Sharkport/Xport you recieve the cable to connect the PS2 and the PC (there in lies the only problem... the PC and PS2 have to be within about 6 feet of one-another).
However, with the Maxdrive you recieve the same two discs (one for the PC software and one for the PS2), but in place of a connecting cable you recieve a memory card that isn't really good for too much when it comes to GT4.

To use the Xport you have to connect the PS2 and PC with the provided cable, use the provided disc in the PS2 and the software on the PC, then follow the proper procedure to transfer saves.

With the Maxdrive you have to use the disc in the PS2 and then transfer your save from your memory card to a flash drive, then you must connect the flash drive to the PC and unload the data (vice-versa to get PC saves onto the PS2 memory card).

For each device there are problems.
However, I'm yet to get any corruption problems from either.

In the end you will be fine with either one, although I suggest you consider the pros and cons of both before buying either.

Like Famine, I have both.
I have no prefference as to which is better.

Anyone feel like giving this guy a post about the pros and cons of both? :sly:

I passed the mission 34 with SLR Mclaren, they were wright, it is possible, I was driving about 10 times and came first, thank you all for help and Have a drink on me and my German Shepard dog Jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand this is a GT4 discussion, but does anyone know the tentative release date (if there is one) for GT5? Also, what platform(s) will it be fore?

I can answer the platform part - PS3. As for the date part perhaps end of 2007 but it may be worth trying to find an old thread on GT4's release date - the time between its various official (and unofficial) release dates and its actual release dates was not insignificant - I thought it was a hugely amusing period.

Alright, thanks. I've looked through the forum a bit, and mainly it seems to be car lists. I really want to buy the game, but PS3s are sooooo pricey!

How can I changed from km/hr to mph. I changed it befor but cant remember.

Anywhere you see the "Options" button, even when you're about to start a race or in the Home menu. Choose "Options", scroll down to "Miscellaneous" and choose "Units".

There you go!!! :sly:

Have any of you GT4 players wasted money on NASCAR 07? Its the big craze at work and everyone playes online. I bought it the other day and so far I just dont get it. I'm gonna give it some time but it dosent even reconize the DFP.
Why would a company make a driving game that dose not have DFP capability? You get the cheap wheel 1/4 turn each way.

I have the game. I like it. Im a huge Nascar Fan. Im pretty sure the G25 works with Nascar 07. If your not a huge Nascar fan its har to get into. Its nothing like GT4.

Okay, this question has been bugging me for the longest time:

What the hell is that buzzer that goes off constantly during rally races? It's a faint, two-short-one-long buzz that sounds like the ones they use in basketball and hockey stadiums, and it goes off at irregular intervals throughout the races (but only Special Condition Hall).
