I just got back to GT4 with my sadly glitched 99.8% save with all 720+ cars in my garage. I of course haven't used them all, and I notice that if you haven't driven the car, you most likely won't be able to see Power and the other stat in the list (I forget). Is there a way to be able to see these stats without getting on every single car?
It sounds like you have a game save that used a cheat to get the cars. For any car that was attained via a cheat, the stats will only show up in the sort capable garage list once you actually select it from the garage. Once you do that, the stats for that car will now show up in that list.

In addition, any car you get from a cheat will be as if it was bought new at a dealer, and like all other cars, you'll need to change its oil to see what the max stock HP & TQ stats are.

B-Spec is running the Nurb 24h as I write this... 6h 30min gone, he has a one lap lead over the Alfa 155 DTM (he's using the Suzuki GSX-R).

FGT, here I come!

edit: 11h 30min gone, 2 lap lead :)

edit: 21h 30min done, 3 lap lead :)

edit: Done! Won by 4 laps (195 laps total). Got the "Australia" (ugh)-coloured FGT.

plz light me, do i have to play 24 h to complete 24 hours tracks ,or did u really play for 24 H to complete that tracks, i have a hard believing to make that possible .(sorry my bad Eng)

Yes, you need to play for 24 hours no matter which mode you use.

B-Spec is easier, but A-Spec is more fun.

I'm pretty sure you have forgotten some of the manufacturer races. Check the events and see if you have won all the races. Oh and something else; you need to have all races won, i mean only gold medals.

Good Luck

  • If you want to race it in A-spec by yourself, then yes, it will take you 24 hours +last lap to finish a 24hr race.
  • If you choose to take turns with a friend or two, then of course your time on track will be less.
  • If you choose to take turns with your B-spec driver, then not only is your drive time going to be less, but as you can set the race at 3x speed when using B-spec, you can also finish the race faster.
  • If you let your B-spec driver run the whole race, then it is possible to finish the race in a little over 8 hours when set at 3x speed (just keep in mind that the pit stops are done in real time, and it will not automatically switch back to 3x speed, so if you are not monitoring the race, you'll have to periodically check the race during or after each pit stop).
In other words, one of the nice things about GT4 is that they give each player a lot of options how they want to complete a race.

That said, as to your comment about finding it hard to believe that it is possible to race a 24 hour race all on your own... it not only is possible, but I and many other GTP members have not only done it, but enjoy doing it as well.

Here are some helpful links for inspiration and recommendations on ways of completing 24hr and other endurance races:
If you find any or all of these at all helpful, please let the authors know by leaving them some rep by clicking on their respective red checks:

That's what I did.

Took 8h 15min to complete Nurb.

It took me 8Hours, 32Minutes, and 41 seconds to finish. Even though I stood in a pis stop until I knew what time to finish the race the earliest. 👍

You stood in a pis stop for 8h32m41s
How much beer did you drink....
:D

AMG.

I calculated how long it would've taken me before the race - approx 8h 10min.

I did a trial run in the car I used (GSX-R/4) and found that B-Spec, on pace 4 + o/t did 7 laps per pit, in a time of ~50 minutes (race time).

Thus, he did 27 (+- 1) pits in total, and each pit took 30 seconds. Total pit time: about 15 minutes.

I took 15 minutes away from 24 hours, divided that by three and added the 15 minutes back on. Result: 8h 10min.

Does redlining the Chapparal 2d (the car without the fans) hurt its engine?
Since the car only got 3 gears the 2nd gear starts at 5000rpm and the car redlines at 6000.:scared:
The redline-light also does not flash until you redline the car over 7000 rpm.

Is it save to redline it up to 7000rpm?

No you don't, if you consider a Black F1 another car. It all depends on what prize cars you have won. If you won all of the prize cars that can't be bought, and all the other cars, then you have all the cars. The black F1 isn't really considered another car, since you win these at the Nurburgring 24 Hour endurance, and the colors are better IMO. Just win all the cars you can't buy and buy all the cars you can buy, then there you go.

Never actually noticed before, but if you drive the Nike 2022 car, you can hear the heartbeat of the driver (which changes depending on what speed you are doing). Just have the music turned down, and one of the in-car views 👍
