yeah but i think the point of this list is to keep it for cars that have been seen testing or in screen shots. There are a number of cars that will most probably be in GT4 but aren't on there. I think if we start guessing the list will lose it's accuracy and in turn its relevance.

Yep. Anyway back to the new Range Rover, I think in the mag it might have been a typo, everywhere else is calling it the Range Sport not the Range Rover Sport.

btw if this really is the accurate car list

All cars from the previous games will be on GT4;

How come theres no BMW 840Ci there?

Sorry just had to say it:D

That is true right? All cars from all the previous versions will be in it?

Because I'm not going to guess that every literal car would be in, especially since a lot of the cars in GT1-3 are now outdated.

PD also said they will have every version of the Ford Mustang in GT4, they didn't mean EVERY version, but they are hoping to get at least one car from each generation, KY has never been quoted to the best of my knowledge as saying every car from previouse GT games will be in GT4, that would be bull**** anyway, whats going to be new. He has been quoted as saying, most of the cars from previouse games will be in, he has also been quoted saying there will be more cars in GT4 than any previouse game which means over 600. Beware of certain translations from Japanese to English, they don't all come out right like the Mustang comment.

"This Porsche RUF will lead GT4's charge into adding the long-desired European exotic cars to its lineup"

Beging the the question 'does Gamepro have any idea what they are talking about?'
no, no they dont...

So, you still might, the new M5 is in a special version of GT4 so that migh be in the final game.

Hmmmm new M5 would be awsome!

Would love to see a really big range though. (past and present models)

Sad to know that will almost defintely not happen:banghead:

Hopefully it will be available via online content:D

Jump'n the gun a bit arent we. Think about it, PD has a working releationship with BMW, making a special version of Gran Turismo to show off thier new M5. IMO that makes it quite likely we may see more than just a few BMW's. Most likely the largest showing we've seen from BMW in the series. Especially since this game is supposed to convey the 'History' of the cars featured in it. There wouldnt be much history shown if it just had thier new cars/concepts.

I don't think any of the older M cars will be in because of the license with EA, biut other older models should be in.

Maybe, but there is word going around that EA no longer holds many of the car licenses it once did these past years. Possibly expired and they didnt get renewed or maybe they just dont hold them exclusive anymore. RAGE, the developers of the now recently defunct 'Lamboghini', a game featuring obviously nothing but Lamborghini, had a 3 year license agreement but EA bought the game and cancelled it giving rise to some speculation that EA may not have exclusive rights to the car but are still trying to maintain the image that they do. Ofcourse EA is supposedly still part of the Ferrari Idea SA, a group of 22(I think) companies in charge of managing the Ferrari name and likeness, a group that I doubt is very easy to be a part of, so really I doubt very much we will see ferrari. But who knows, I do remember reading an article in some car mag that Ferrari was very interested in being in a GT game.
E3 should shed alot of light on what GT4 will hold and I do expect a few suprises.

Theres was an article on Ferrari's interest in being in GT4, and if you need to part of that group to represent them I think it could be Sony's lucky year.

Hurray for more BMWs:cool:

Thanks for the info man!

And about EA not having liscences anymore.....I was just thinking...in NFS HP2 the BMW M5 used was a 1999-2000 model when the game was released wayyyyy after that.

The E39 M5 was facelifted in 2001 and they didnt have the facelifted model in the game.....maybe EA's liscences might have expired AGESSSS ago;)
