"Cars in red have been seen being photographed and tested by Sony/Polyphony Digital and may or may not be in GT4"

- how suitable that Ferrari will now have to be put on the list in red ... :D

Here's some pictures so we can get back on topic and play the identification game again ;) (models and years):

On GT4 Prologue's bonus DVD it almost seemed that every other car you saw was a Porsche or a Ferrari, and to illustrate this for those who cannot see for themselves, I took these shots from the DVD yesterday:

The reason I was asking about all past cars being in GT4, was because I couldn't see Venturi mentioned in the preliminary list.

And Venturi popped into my head after seeing their new model, the oddly named Fetish.

It's a very distinctive car, ayou can see Here;

I wouldn't mind racing a Lotus Elite and Vauxhall 220 with that.:)

Your a bit behind arn't you. It's not the first time such a car has been in GT and it won't be the last.

Aw no!!!
Porsche's, and Ferrari's!!!!!! Please don't tell me, it's GAME OVER.

They did it, (I think they did) they did the ultamate licence aquisition, Ferrari and Porsche are finally going to be in GT4! YYYYEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

👍

What!!! You could try to make more sense next post. But if your saying PD have got the Porsche and Ferrari license, they arn't free until later this year at the earliest and do you have a source?

Uh, have you seen the pics, duh, even thou its not yet THAT official, how can it be possible that they test all those cars in one setting. Come on, I'll believe that those two marques not being in GT4 if there is ONLY one Ferrari and/or Porsche on the track, but 5, 6, or 7 Ferrari's/Porsche's on one test?! That can be a little bit too obvious.

I've been on vacation for the week so I just now updated the list to add the sightings of Ferraris and Porsches.

They wern't being tested, they were part of a staff day out that PD filmed.

Hmm, I noticed that post a while ago but I only glanced through it before. You make a good few points there, I guess tey could have as much chance of being in than many of the cars seen tested.

I see more sightings:

-The last version of the Lotus Esprit V8 and Porsche Boxter (behind the guy in blue jacket)

-Bentley Continental T along with the Ford RS200 and the Morgan Aero 8 Roadster (way out there)

-Is that a Marcos Coupe?

Just to let you guys updated a bit.
:)

I think Marcos has confirmed, every model will be represented, so expect to see the Mantis, Mantara LM500, LM600 ect and the new TSO and TS250 and 500.

i´d like to see those formula renault cars which apeared in some shots instead of the ol´ lister storm.......

Why instead of? The Storm is a great car, but it's stats were and performance was all wrong in GT3, it was just the road car bu with the race cars body. I would prefer the Storm if it was a case of one or the other, but why not both?

I read earlier in this thread that EA's contract expires in November.

I would like to know how well documented is that? Is this a rumor, wishful thinking, or is there some legitimate grounds for the claim?

If it's true, then the November release date seems -much- too coincidental.

Out of curiousity...

I thought I saw some Roll's Royce's in the videos on Prologue... (I don't know what models or anything) or where they the Bentley's that you've listed?

C.

I can't see why Rolls Royce wouldn't be in, seeing as they are owned by BMW. I wouldn't want to drive one though. :yuck:
I don't think they would even fit in the Citte Di Aria course.

I'm also not that keen on Rolls', and the newest on is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen.

It would be easy to model though, just round the corners off a brick.;) :)

There are many cars shown in the ending video that are not on the list. There were plenty of cars shown in museum condition, some of them featuring what seemed to be the Spirit of Ecstacy. I believe I also observed what appeared to be a Ferrari F40 (plus some other Ferraris) in the same vid. But unless someone gets the vid onto a computer, it's hard to tell. The "museum runs" are too quick to get a good look, and I don't have the tech nor knowledge to do so.

Oh well, it will be one of the biggest suprises when GT4 comes out by the end of the year.

=crosses fingers=
