My system is simple enough. If I see a car, I add it to the list. If someone else see's a car, I ask for proof so that I can see it with my own eyes, then add it to the list.
I don't see how you have any room to complain that my list isn't good enough for you and everyone else, considering how much time and effort I have put into this... 👎

Woah, woah woah, the359, don't stress, i am utterly grateful that you have compiled such a list and you should be proud of your achievements, your system is fair and reasonable. If you need some backup preventing your list degenerating into a wishlist, i'm sure you can enlist the aid of a mod. Hell, i'll be glad when Gt4 is out not just so i can play itm, but also so the plethora of "will xxx be in" will stop. I dream of that ideal world. Just three more months, hust three more months....... 
I have no problem with your list, other then the fact that the updating is lacking in some areas, such as the inclusion of Ferraris still and Porches, which have been guaranteed to not be in the game. Plus it would be a much easier system to update, and include even more information, for those who perhaps dont know what a Ginetta is for example. Maybe a way for people to add even more information such as exact models or years of the cars, (a '69 GTO is much different than a '70 GTO Judge). Also having multiple moderators rather than just one person would make it a lot less of a load of work.
This was partly just a project for fun, and in no way did I mean to offend you. But rather to compliment your idea and improving upon it.

Penny wise the359's doing this out of his own free will, it's not his job, why should he have to gather loads more info for people who don't know what a Ginetta is for example when they can find out in less than 1 min on Google.
As for Ferrari they are in because a very good argument has ben brought forward as to why they might still be in despite KY saying they arn't.
I understand how you want to help but he's doing it as it is and he's not going to spend hours on it since he's not getting paid and he has other things to do, all these ideas have been discussed before.

My motifs for this idea have been discussed a lot since I posted last night, and I would just like to clarify some things,

I was in no way trying to replace his list, but to provide an alternative to it.
If by now you haven't notice I used was rather than am, you should know now that the idea is no longer a go, rather a larger project I was afraid to start has flourished and is on its way to becoming a reality.

The should have a drift mode or a d1 mode. that should be fun. They should have a time attack mode where theres a lotta ppl trying to get the best time. IMO

There is nothing wrong with my system. Period. Any system that anyone comes up with will have mistakes, but just because I've made errors on my list does not mean my system is in any way wrong or flawed.
Any suggestion that it needs to be improved is rubbish.
And the notion that people are contacting YOU (a new member) to complain about MY list is ludacris. After 972 replies to this thread, the only complaint, and it wasn't even really a complaint, was for pictures to be added to all the cars on the list, which was discussed and not taken up for reasons that everyone here understood.

359, you are correct in suggesting that any system will have flaws. That is the very reason to collate and publish evidence for public scrutiny to ensure that errors and omissions are minimised. It is inefficient for all parties to contact you on a case by case basis to check on the evidence for inclusions.
As for being negative and not furthering the list, I have labelled your work as unparalleled and highly commendable. Furthermore, if look back at my posts you will note that my efforts have been centred on adding new cars such as the R90CP and scrutinising entries that were erroneous.
Finally, as a new member who has been following GTP since Dec 03, when I began to post I was contacted by a number of senior members who explained to me about your temperament and unwillingness to co-operate with other members something to think about no doubt.

Thats wrong, how many car companies are there left that are still independant, not many Ferrari is owned by FIAT, Ferrari owns Maserati but if PD can get Maserati even if Ferrari remains unavailable. VW owns Lamborghini, PD got the VW license which had no effect on the Lamborghini license. Each marque comes under a seperate lcense and so does each car withgin that marque, even Toyota and Lexus require two different licenses.McLaren F1GTR

Actually no. The example of VW is a good one. PD comes to VAG (VW-Audi Group) and asks them for licenses to brands, and VAG only allow them certain ones. VAG can deny them access to Lamborghini while allowing them access to VW, Audi, Seat possibly, and Bentley.
