pontiac is in, but no sign of the Trans-Am..? I would be pretty angry if they leave it out... does anyone have any news about this car..? like, anything...? I would've payed an extra 5£ for the inclusion of the trans-am.. imagine that one on the nordschleife.. lol
WS6 package.

Yes, it's the same car, but seeing as how it's technically made up, they could assign whatever year they want to it...

I was under the assumption that it was the sister car to the early 90’s number 22 car below (albeit possible fictitious sister). Interesting that PD have labelled it ‘LM’ now rather than ‘race car.’ My money is on a typo as in the case with the Mercedes.

Edit: see pic from E3 this year.

Is there any significance in the different font colors on that list? I'm thinking no.

It defianately is meant to be that XJ220 race car, but the fact that they now refer to it as an LM Edition is odd.

If any XJ220 should be a LM Edition, I think the XJ220S TWR should be. There is a racing version called the XJ220C which is 1993 racer.

Its the same as the XJ220 Race Car just with a XJ220S TWR spoiler.

Going on SHIRAKAWA's excellent translation, it appears that the sedan based ‘dream cars’ have been renamed as touring cars:

2001 Toyota Altezza Touring Car (GT3)
2001 Subaru Impreza Super Touring Car (GT3)
2002 Mazda Atenza Touring Car (GTC)

It will be interesting to see if there is a change in spec.

Edit: Hmm, 2002 Honda Integra TYPE R LM is also listed as TC.

Is the Impreza LM the same as this Impreza Touring car (supposedly) from GT4?

Yes, that is what I was suggesting in the previous post. This applies also to the Atenza and the Altezza.

Edit: as the Mazda 6 and the Integra touring cars have around 300 horsepower, it will be interesting to see if the Altezza and Impreza will be down graded from GT3 spec in order to fit in with a lesser class of racing. Although it has fewer horses again, maybe it will give the BMW ETCC car something to compete against. Nonetheless, I continue to hope for a dedicated ETCC class in the game.

Two cars to add to list, maybe:

Audi Sport Quattro S1 Rally car -85, Cano confirmed that.

HSR-41 (I didn't find real car with google) was mentioned in Finnish game magazine "Pelaaja" and that magazine is Finland's best.

Still no sign of a single SAAB, hm? Well, I will be enjoying the thrill ride of the Toyota 2000GT.

I would love to ask them to take out that PT Cruiser or some other worthless car and replace it with my sig :ouch:
\/

There are cars in GT4 more worthless than the PT Cruiser, but every car makes GT4 a bigger game.

Hey, don't get me wrong, my dream SAAB would be a 9-3 Convertible and I sure would mind taking around any course.

But there's still hope.

Remember, we'ver got 80 Manufacturers!
There are tons of cars we haven't heard of yet.

The only other option would be the Audi S4s that were used in Speed GT in 2002.

I chalk them all up to errors, except the Audi Abt TT and Audi Abt TT-R. Abt does tune Audi street cars, so it's possible that one of their tuned TTs is in the game alongside their TT-R race car.
Good find of that Abt TT!

I did a search on Altavista and found that there was an FWD A4 STCC supported by the Swedish importer in 2004. Chances are low that this car is meant however.
