As confirmed as it can get. Stop dreaming and welcome to real life. ^_^

Oh man, lol, this is great. I never thought they would put a Road Runner Superbird in GT4.

I would like to get picky and ask for them to also put the Hemi Road Runner in there too but that wouldnt be nice. :sly:

the 359 i rate you for keeping up 2 date and i do appreciate what you are doing this is the best car list period
all this list needs is a TVR sagoris and sorted whats your opinion on that peeps?

The pretty old ones will have 2 stroke engines I think. The sound is nice, but can very much vary for each car. From a low grunt to a high pitched sound. Depends on the airfilter setup and such.

The only car on the list I'm sure is a two-stroke is the Subaru 360.

1958 Subaru Subaru 360
1965 Shelby Mustang G.T. 350R
1965 Toyota Sports 800
1967 Toyota 2000GT
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo

Aw, man! I knew that these had to be in there. Now if only they'd get the BMW 507, that would be perfect to race against the Jag E-type!

This is awesome! Honestly, this is going to be the only Racing game you'll ever need!

Looking at the Japanese list again, I don't see the 2000 Vanquish. I think only the 2004 Vanquish is in so far.

thanks for the help , but still ,the cars should look like glass, the ps2 was only using 25% of its capibilities to make the cars look like that, so GT4 dam

Well that horrific car is the DMN DeLorean S2 which is the car from "Back to the Future" weird and ugly car, but hope it howls ass or something atleast because for sure atleast to me it doesn't got the looks. Anyways is that the actual 04' model because that car looks super old, and besides I've seen other pics of a DMC in another thread possibly the 04' model I would suggest.

Hm.. that brings up another possibility... is the S2 the foreign name of the DMC-12? Are they in fact the same car? That would make a bit more sense.. I mean, Delorean only made one car, which is the DMC-12, or more simply, "the Delorean", or "The Back to the Future car", which is where it was popularized.

I can imagine racing with it...

"Quick, quick. If I hit 85 mph, I will warp 20 laps in front of them... :dopey: "

Kidding aside, that could be a very good possibility. I don't know if there is only one DeLorean, but I _do_ know that it is the only DeLorean I have heard of.

After a brief Google search, I found this:

http://www.channel4.com/4car/featur...farewell-2085/lotusespritfarewell-2085-5.html

That article makes me wonder, could it be that in certain countries, the DMC-12 was offered as a DeLorean S2?

The 2004 DeLorean S2 is a mockup prototype built by DeLorean in an attempt to resurrect his company. Someone posted some pictures of it in another thread.

Also, the 2004 RE Amemiya RX-7 from the JGTC is confirmed through this website

Hm, I can't seem to find any pics of the prototype online. Would it be too much if I asked you to point me to the thread?

hmm, the only DeLoreans I'm aware of being sold or manufactured are being done in Houston, Texas. They are basically rebuilt from the ground up using original DeLorean parts and such. They do have several other models they are working on that include turbos/ superchargers and better and bigger engines. Perhaps this is what is intended in the game as well?

Here is a link to their site.

The site with the prototype drawing seems like nothing more than a fansite made by someone. I'm only basing that on the fact that the main image on the website says, "DeLorean Fansite Deutschland."

Excellent find.👍 We are now one short of a full grid of GT300 cars.

Edit: remove thumb

The prototype has been mentioned by quite a few automotive sites, DeLorean has been trying to build a new car for quite some time but obviously lacks the money.

These are however the first pictures I've seen of it, but it does fit the descriptions I've heard.

Actually we do have six, you forgot the Weds Sport Celica.
Yes indeed. Thankyou…

Hmm I'm still confused . Why isn't the RE Amemiya(JGTC) RX-7 in black text it it's been confirmed??

There are 2 RE Amemiya RX-7s. Their JGTC car and then their modified street car, which is white with black carbon fiber bits. The RE Amemiya street car was seen being tested with that large group of cars way back when.

I'm debating wether or not to put both cars under RE Amemiya or under Mazda.

I would suggest both to be inducted to the RE Amemiya section because they are RE Amemiya to begin with right. It's like saying put a NISMO GT-R down on Nissan instead of NISMO itself.

Hmm I started to ponder why is there a Sauber C9(1998) in the infamous car list the Adban brought upon our precious eyes and why hasn't it been added to the list and also someother cars aswell. I recall that for 2005 theres two Ford GT's I wonder why hasn't the other been added.

I'm a member in several automotive forums and haven't heard anything about it. I also searched thenet as mentioned above and didn't find anything either with the exception of the pictures linked in the other thread. I only found that site based on the picture link itself, which lables itself a "fansite". Just my two cents on the subject.

If you actually go to the link I provided you may find wealth of information from them. As quoted fromt heir site...

After the inspection is complete, the checklist is converted to an estimate, where our seventeen years of experience with the DeLorean works to the owner's advantage as we compute labor times. Our parts inventory includes the world's largest supply of DeLorean parts, which means the best selection for the restoration project.

At DeLorean Motor Company, service and restoration work is done to original, top quality specifications. The car's uniqueness demands highly trained, skilled specialists who know this car intimately. Under the guidance of Stephen Wynne, DMC's technicians have at hand all the parts and know-how needed not only to service and repair DeLoreans, but to correct the factory-generated weaknesses that are a part of this car's lore. All work is done the original way, with original or improved parts.

Don't take my word, for it look it up. I provided the link needed. DeLorean's are build with parts in a similar manner most other cars these days are built, using common parts found on other makes and models in the same family line.
