Okay, had a chance to see the tracks in action with the cars involved. And all the four cars in the videos are new to the GT series. So first and foremost, I'd like to personally invite these four cars to the GT series.
Audi R8 at Laguna Seca - Laguna Seca looks pretty nice. Having this track raced in the daytime as opposed to GT3's sunset setting is nothing new. But the Audi R8 will be the target to take down when I find some reliable machine to kick this car's ass. Regardless, it had a nice drive and should be pretty nice. It sounds kind of close to a soundbyte I saved of the Audi R8 at speed when the race was into the first lap and an onboard camera was shot from one of the Audi R8s. Not exact, but I'm not complaining.
F1 at Motegi - At first, I thought this was the McLaren F1 racing Motegi, but it was the PD F1 car. It sounds pretty loud, like a modern F1 car. It also looked pretty good racing around and around.
Volvo at High Speed Ring - The Volvo was pretty cool. It had a little off after the right-left complex mid-track. High Speed sure looks a lot better than in GTs 1 and 2. The "makeover" was exceptional. You know like on daytime talk shows when ugly slobs and "hoochie mamas" become beautiful people? Well, High Speed Ring was already nice; it was just made better. I have to see how Deep Forest changed (many don't like it, but I'd like to see a video of the new DF sometime in the future.
Toyota 7 at Seattle - Seattle residents, how scenic are sunsets in downtown Seattle (just asking)? The Toyota 7 is a very insane-looking machine. I'm pretty sure it was around in the time Can-Am was the talk of the town all over North America. This machine looks like it doesn't disappoint. Toyota has great racing history from CART to IMSA to the JGTC. All it needs now is a NASCAR Trucks championship and F1 title.
Nice videos, sorry it took so much and so long for me to talk about as much as I can.
