Seriously i think you misread the topic. When i said the GT4 music sucks i was speaking for myself. But you took it so objectively and personnaly that you though i was talking for everyone.
There were two ways to see this thread:

1) This guy is telling that my music sucks.
2) This guy doesn't like this music so to him it sucks.

You read the whole thread from the first point of view, didn't you ? well, thats because you took it personnal.

I'm very proud. It doesn't make me hairy though does it. Hairy somehow doesn't seem to imply a good or neutral thing. You make it sound like I'm covered from head to toe in hair, like my cat. Also, the word hairy conjures up an image of a big mass of greasy poop. Which my beautiful (ho ho ho) locks most certainly are not! *Pouts.*

Is it me, or do they sell rechargeable batteries these days? Why sure they do! And I said if you had an .mp3 player worth speaking of. That would use a lithium battery. Which would be rechargeable. Besides. Why should I buy your batteries? It's not me that wants them. Besides I already buy my own, because the music in GT4 isn't as heavy as my tastes. Why should I buy yours also? If this is the case, stop complaining because you've got what you want. By the way, there is actually no such thing as 'better' music. You may have preferences, but no-one has the right to call one genre better than another. Finally if all these people dislike the soundtrack for GT4, then they've managed to express it far less disruptively than your Royal Highness.

You obviously dislike the music in the game, that's a fair point, as people have stated - the music in GT4 caters to many different people, with varying styles of music - also another fair point if you don't like ANY of the various styles of music in the game. If you don't like it, you have two options - Don't listen to it, or listen to an external source. You ruled out the former, so what's illogical is that you're adament about turning off the music and listening to an external source because it costs money and you may have to take said external source of music with you when travelling with your ps2, although being a "city nightclub guy", I'm sure you have various sources of music closeby... you're on a computer, you have the internet, there are various internet radio stations - oh look, I found a solution!

Let me help you out, because you just did again. What youre doing is called : a closed listening. You keep refusing to admit that youre wrong probably because this concept is out of your reach.

Let me explain to you how we differenciate a tech to an engineer. Tech deal with all the cases from the surface only, they interact with the interface and apply the only options they see like robots. On the other hand, Engineers look at the interface and they say: Hey this interface is wrong. Lets change the core (kernell, source) and recompile everything to meet the new constraints.

Tech don't do that....they can't so instead they use the term Eye Dee Ten Tee.

You're really going too far mate. From what you have already read or heard most of this "Clan Pro Metal" don't listen to most of the in game music. In case you didn't realise, by the way, most of what you've called "metal" music in the game would be classed as rock, not metal, at least if it was released now. Who cares if you have to listen to your own music instead of the garage screen? I know that I'd rather hear Muse than that jazzy menu screen stuff any day.
You make it sound like such a big deal that you'd have to carry "all sorts of wires and devices" to listen to, per se, an .mp3 player. That's a bit over the top. It's an .mp3 player, some speakers, and maybe a mains plug, but you could just run it off the battery that should last about 10 hours if you've got anything worth speaking of. No problem then. That's one or at most two cables, and two devices (mp3 and headphones/speakers).
Also, before you said whinging about a person or group of people, or insulting that group was worse than complaining about a product. You complained when metal fans took offence. Then you called us "Metal Hairy Boys." Don't be such a hypocrite. There's no need to aim insults at people, especially when you've just complained when other people have done it to you. Take the rough with the smooth man, or shut up.

Anyway, basically, PD have done as well as they could to fit different styles in GT, from Breakbeat, to Dance, to Heavy Rock. If you don't fit into any of these groups, you are very likely to be a bit of an anomaly. And PD can't cater for every anomaly.

Besides, why come in here and try and basically hint and insinuate that the music many people here listen to sucks. Why not go and tell some lions that meat sucks, why not all become veggie, huh?

Either put up with the background music, or turn it off. But you also seem to think that polyphony will change a perfectly good soundtrack, and outrage thosands, just because of one person wants them to. It's not going to happen.
