at least there is 16x9 support. i just dont see why they took out hdtv support there goes 2 grand down the drain

HDTV support will probably be in the US version, it was probably cut from the PAL version cause it didn't run smoothly and snice there are hardly any HDTV sets available here, PD decided it wasn't worth the time to make it work properly (read: further delay the game to put in a feature that 99% of us cant use cause we are way behind the US and Japan when it comes to HDTV).

BTW as I understand it, Amar works for a Croatian PS2 mag. This is how he was able to get it early I'd imagine.

Amar got it legal. Believe me. A Dutch tv program (GAMMO) got it already. So why couldn't Amar got it? Etc etc... Pal version is done, Amar got it, Gammo got it and well.. alot of other people also got it.

Plus, in the UK GTA:SA was on top of the charts until NFS:U2 came along and knocked it off the top spot to stay there for NINE WEEKS... and san andreas broke the record of how many copies sold in a weekend - more than a million...

Fantastic! We can change power and speed units to exactly what we want! MPH, HP and kgf.m would be my choice!! i cant wait. Thanks Amar for all the info. Am i right in thinking your can choose the units of speed seperatly to the wieght for example when you change the speed to MPH instead of KPH will it also change the wight from KG to LBs or can you change it independly.

2 questions about the power readings you provide above. Firstly what unit are they in PS? Also are those the untuned power readings or when all engine mods are used? In confuses me as on this web site http://z-o-g.org/gt4cars/dirindex.html the power reading for say the Bentley is 632ps while your reafing says 797. Could you fill me in please!

PS. can you still use the X-Port with GT4? I am not sure if i could cope with runing the 24hour race but i realy will want the Bentley Speed 8!

reason why I say the us should get the best version is, we haven't gotten anything from PD but a toyota demo btw, I'm not nationalist for america, pfft
but I just hope we get updates like the Euro version. Different cars would be nice, like a 05 C6, panoz lmp(want that so badly), radical razor(believe that's the name of the car, was seen in the pd's test sessions awhile back), etc. I really want that 300c, I need it!

Yes.. Xport works flawlessly with GT4...

The site uses showroom power figures. These are not accurate.

Check my Car Database (can be found via the FAQ) for true power ratings as cars appear in your garage, unmoledted.

Nice info. I llke the Spirra. Just up my alley for a nice mod racer. Small, sporty, lightweight and just over 300 ponies. A wing on the back will do nicely, too. Perfect. I hope US gets it. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

The SLR Mclaren is around 610,000 I presume as it is around 61,000,000 in the Japanese version. The Supra will be in the used cars topic.
