But Infiniti and Acura are in the JPN/CHN versions, so it's odd that they only now got around to adding Lexus.

I notice amar suggested less flickering, now this has been a big prob in gt games on the ps2. I want the us verison to have clean graphics like the euro version. Nice info. I llke the Spirra. Just up my alley for a nice mod racer. Small, sporty, lightweight and just over 300 ponies. A wing on the back will do nicely, too. Perfect. I hope US gets it. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

PAL version is shaping up quite nicely I must say...

Finally being able to 'customise' how you read the Power and Torque is very nice it's going to be either hp/bhp/Kw with Nm for me... and I'll prolly go mph too...

Hopefully there'll be some little surprises for us, it's totally unlike PD to not have some...

Without reading the rest of the thread (going to do that now ; yes, that's true. Pal Gold versions are already given to some tv game programs / reviewers. Gammo (dutch game program on tv) for instance got it's gold PAL version a couple of days ago.

What about the box and booklet?

(reply based on the fact that i'm assuming that Amar got the press disc) 99% of the time you don't get a box/booklet with it, only a stupid cd cover with a cd/dvd in it. That's it. Atleast, that's the way MS/Sony in Holland do it.

There are only some wings you can add on your cars trunk, no front spoilers.

You can buy Chrysler 300C Hemi from Chrysler dealer.

Cobra, you're a lucky guy - graphic is improved over the Asian version. Flickering has been minimised in all "visual sections", as well as slowdowns during play and replays. Work has been done properly now.

For 359: Fortunatly, copy isn't buggy at all. And it is not a press disc, even not a "blue box disc". As for release date, notice that no less then 3 million of DVD's must be produced, casing must be printed, multi-lingual manuals printed and insterted, then DVD's must be collected in SCEE's reginal HQ's, shipped to retailers and not to speak about some GT4 Bundle which is probably on it's way too. Lot of things to do before the game reach the stores.

As for Lexus, I guess there is Lexus in PAL. Shame me, didn't take it into concern. Even looked at Lexus 300 yesterday in Used car section but didn't find it okward. My mistake, I'll check it later today too, together with voice-overs..

Well, no HDTV or 1080i support. But the picture looks superb. Trust me on that one.

Today I'll do some serious testing of features after I get the prize cars for licences - didn't spend any money so far.

Expect reports on replays, A to B-Spec switch, pit-works, voice-overs, GT Auto shops, search for new models and so on.

First image of the Pug! Now for some photo-mode pics. This can be done by making the desired cars appear as AI opposition in GT or Arcade mode. Save the replay, then go to replay theatre where you can view the replay and select the car that you want in order to take pics of it.

I take solice in the fact that my TV can display both PAL and NTSC, so that if the U.S. doesn't get these updates I can play the PAL version in non-black and white.
