Meh. If the PAL release is genuinely finished already, why are they making us wait until the 9th March? Surely they could get it out sooner. I swear they just hate us Europeans.

how long do you think it takes for the company to make enough dual-layered DVDs for a bunch of GT addicts including myself :)

Well if they release it sooner everybody here that needs the PAL version will be hella happy !! And send them many thanks !! (just thought ;))

So glad to be in Europe, though it sucks that games are released2 days later in the U.K

I assume the game has went gold then, time to pre-order methinks.

 Amar212
Release date in the UK is the 9th.

For the last time....
You can't save your game during endurance races when you pit!
;)
I think he was asking if the had changed it, but what about the a-spec to b-spec and very important also b-spec to a-spec , and if you can do it in ANY race

Well I dont see why the pal should have hd support seeing how it looks smoother compared to the Japanese version. Amar, the NSTJ version of gt4, does it look as good as the pal version when you set it in 1080i?

Yet again amar212 delivers the goods 👍

Nice to hear they've sorted a number of the problems (especially 2 player garage), although its a little dissapointing they haven't added more 2nd hand Euro cars but I thought that'd be unlikely anyway.

Also good to hear about measurement figure selection, I assume weight in PAL is still measured in KG, personally I'd use mph, hp & lb-ft. And even though I'd use lb-ft for torque I'm still happy cars weigh in KG

thanks Amar .... great job!!!
if you have time someday, can you make a video camparison between NTSC-J and PAL graphics?
like you done the prologue vs bmw demo before
thanks

Cerbman 1. You are one lucky bloke to have gone to a Le Man where the XJR9 took place. I have enver been to a motor racing event never mind Le Mans. Personally i am gutted that PD took it upon themselves to automatically increase the HP of the latest LMP cars just to match the older Le Man cars. I would prefer their actual power outpute to be accurate as possible to real life. Generally all have 600bhp, and weight 900kg, but then we have the ability to tune them up to standard of the older cars! Any photos of the XJR9 yet?

So are the graphics in the PAL version better or worse than the asian version? Are their notable differences?

the 905 has only 512 bhp? is it a joke?
Why have they done this to the fastest le mans car ever?
I can't believe that the car which has done the lap record of Le MAns track can't keep up with other LMP cars!!
I hope that in a race it can easiliy keep up with them.
Please tell me that the 905 is as fast as it should be!!!!

Why only 512hp? What did you expect? 900hp? And, no, this isn't a joke.

;)

New afternoon update available at the end of the first thread.

Lofberg, there is more then 15 new cars as it seems. Maybe even more to find in UsedCar sections during the time.

Interceptor, sorry, no progressive mode.

Cobra, sorry I do not have HDTV because it is not standard in Europe. However, you can always transfer me some hard cash so I bought the damn box and do the comparation:). Kidding, guess that I can say that PAL graphics are more sharper, precise and all-around better then the one in Asian version I have in normal picture mode.

Franz, no way to compare two version because compression would kill all the details. But, notice there is no flickering, slowdowns are minimised and picture seems sharper.

:) I really appreciate what you are doing, keep it up

And can you win a car multiple times to make money, like in GT2
(remember HKS DRAG in the test course? Easy money!)

A photo on page 1. The XJR9 is down as 749hp, which sounds about right, it should compete well with later cars.
Concerning Le Mans 88, I stayed awake the whole 24 hours, I was shattered, great fun though.

I didn't except 900hp but something that's fit more the reality. The 905 was indeed 670hp or more.
Explain me why this car has beaten most of the LMP cars that have more than 700hp (in GT4 I mean) with only 512hp?
I wouldn't be worried about the power if the car can, like it did in real life, match with the other LMP cars.....

Production, packaging, shipping and sorting. doing all of that with several million disks doesn't take a few hours you know.

It's like most of the other LM cars in GT3 and GT4, in the showroom theyre quoted as having one ammount of Bhp, once bought you find they actually have a lot more. If you read Cerbman 1's last post you'd know how much Bhp the 905 really has in GT4.

I read that the Jag is 749hp which fits the reality quite well. But it isn't the case for the 905. Perhaps they don't boost it like some other lmp cars.
I don't know....

Sorry my bad, I thought Cerbman was talking about the 905 :D, expect the 905 to be the same though and to show higher Bhp readings in the garage than the showroom.

Yea, Most of them come with a Little space for Tuneing upgrades, Like Big Turbo's or Stage 3 NA's!

I'd rather have it the same time as the Yanks instead of getting a few bonus cars.
I;d rather get it a week later and have the extra cars, think about it, you could spend enough playing time with thoes 13 extra's to easilly cancell out the time you'd spend playing GT4 in a single week. I know I'm gonna love doing races in the XJR-9 and 905.
