Winner will select the top 10 for the poll and pick the theme for the following week.
Post your final entry in red letters. Such as “FINAL ENTRY”
A preview image may be used, but it may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels by either photo orientation.
You may have two honorable mentions if a preview image is not used.
Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack and have the thumbnail picture.

[Note:No plug-ins for any of the above adjustments or filters are to be used]​

You can use layers for overlay and layer adjustments, but not to alter the geometry and original subject mater of the picture: like adding stickers and body kits, and objects that are not in the original image

Hey treefingers, this competition sounds great!👍 I will certainly be entering in this competition every week, as I am sure many others will be too! I will be looking forward to seeing a lot of high quality pictures from all of the best here at gtplanet.net! Cool!

Yeah, I like that too! It's going to make it even more challenging and demanding to get that top notch photo! And, depending on the amount of entries, it will make it very challenging to pick the top 10!

I'm going to stick with the regular Photomode Competition. I wouldn't want it to be split up, and have less people in certain competitions, and less voters....

NO NO NO, don't put a hamper on this competition! This competitoin was created because the normal competition does not allow for us creative people to fully unleash our capabilities! If you don't want to enter, than don't, but I can tell you that this competition will bring out many more beautiful images than the regular comp will! I am going to enter both though!

i find it a good idea, but i'm not going to enter. I also don't enter in the regular photomode comp.
i'm not good at enhancing pics with photoshop.

Im not trying to take people away from the other comp. I dont expect there to be nearly as many people in this one, its just something extra, mainly for the people that can make incredible pics that take just a little bit more photoshop than the regular photomode comp. i dont think there will be any less people in regular photomode because of this.

Not to take away from this idea but, what is different from this one and the Photomode/Photoshop comp that //. /. '/ already has going? I may be full of dog-do here, but it seems like a duplication of comps.
I'm trying to figure out what you mean by "normal" or "regular" comps that the "creative" types can't unleash their creativity. There's the comnp that centers around any and every manipulation that can be done to a picture, namely the Mag comp. Then there's the one that again, you can do as much to the picture as you want for the Photomode/Photoshop comp. Again, I may have my head up my wazzoo but, seems to me that the "creative" types already have two other "outlets" and the not so creative types have Slick's Photomode comp and the Rally comp. And then just for sh**s and grins Kenny's got his Muscle car comp that is a combination of the lot (granted it's limited to muscle cars).
Like I said before, not to take away from this idea or hamper it but, seems like there already is a comp like this.

Not to take away from this idea but, thats exactly what im trying to do, because i think its a bad idea and i dont understand that the Photomode/Photoshop comp allows anything to be done to the pics but this one doesnt.

In this comp, you can't do all of the major manipulation like adding in body kits and crazy paint jobs and stickers. The photo needs to be a stock photo, without anything extra, and you can adjust the color and contrast and all that stuff alot more than you can with the regular competition. Get it?

basically, this is an extension of slicks comp. in //. /. '/ 's photoshop comp, it seems its more of a "let your imagination run free" comp. specially when you look at week 14s poll and see a fgt with 6 wheels, another car turned into a plane, and yet another in a moon rover. kennys muscle ar comp ive no interest in because ive no intrest in muscle cars. nor does the magazine comp interest me because im not that creative and i dont read any automative mags.

i like this idea because sometimes i wonder "what if" while sometimes while chosing pictures for the regular comp. then there are those who can actually do the stuff and id like to see what they can do if given a goal to acheive. purhapes i/others can get better if theres significant cristism.

but however I crop to vertical, it doesn't look as sweet
so I leave this for your compo ...

I know open a new compo isn't easy
specially it is so much similar to other compo

Here's the best I could do, any tips in photoshop on how I could improve it?

I think yours look way too realistic, even I have seen it couple times
brightness/contrast, curve, satuation are the main elements
you can also use colour filter to fix the colour scheme
I think that's all you need

I don't master Photoshop enough to do that.

Honestly, there is not much photoshop involved at all. You must first master taking photos in GT4! The reason my image looks like that is because I was doing a donut! Try doing crazy things in GT4 and see where that gets you. And then with the right levels touch up and blurring and sharpening, you can acheive greatness!

With regards to filters - must they be applied to the whole image?? What I mean is, can we use a filter on a copied layer, then erase parts of that layer to create the effect we want on various parts of the image (e.g. blurring background but not car). Or is this type of editing a step too far??
