This week’s theme will be "Fiesty Underdog" as chosen by Week 40 Winner SlipZtrEm. ​

Further explanation of theme:

Have a homely little CRX capable of kicking Corvette arse? We want to see your little track-slut of a car, bewinged, slammed, and all. There needs to be a sense of "David vs. Goliath" to the picture, but it has to be reasonable (a Life Step Van against F1 cars will be ignored, and similar things).​

Cars: Any car that appears outclassed in its race.

Tracks: Any.
Phototravel: No​

• Winner will select the top 10 for the poll and pick the theme for the following week.
• Post your final entry in red letters. Such as “Final Entry”
• A preview image may be used, but it may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels by either photo orientation.
• You may have two honorable mentions if a preview image is not used.
• You may change your Final Entry once. If if you do so, please edit your original entry make a new post linking to it.
• Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
• Do not post more than three photos in this thread.
• Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack and have the thumbnail picture.

[Note:No plug-ins for any of the above adjustments or filters are to be used]​

You can use layers for overlay and layer adjustments, but not to alter the geometry and original subject matter of the picture: like adding stickers and body kits, and objects that are not in the original image.​

MINICOOPER - It's a nice shot, but the blur needs a lot of work. Also, my personal opinion, but the sig could be smaller .

lthiele - I don't really see how your shot shows an underdog, it just shows a Cobra spinning out.

Sorry I didn't enter, Slip, because it didn't help the lack of entries, but I honestly did not see this thread until now, July 4th.

Don't know how I missed it. I'll make an effort in the future to try and enter as many comps as possible, because I don't want to see those that haven't already go down the pan.

Good morining everyone
Well, I'm back (finally)!
I've just gone through a rather hectic school exam period, after which we changed internet connections from my previous ISDN digital connection to a standard analogue dialup connection in order to have ADSL Broadband installed (Monday! Can't wait ).
Slip - Big thanks from me for running the Advanced comp in my absence, you did a great job.
I think Vonie did a week or two, so I'll thank him too.
Anyhow, I'll get this poll up and the new week thread up sometime over the weekend.
