It looked soo nice when I took it... but I'm not so sure now. It's far more interesting than the side shot in the HMs, which looks a little cleaner and more pretty, it just lacks that extra sparkle that this one has. The 2CV was a great photo when I made it look 50's, but it lacked the wonderful reflections that played across the Alfa.

PM me if you think I should change the final entry!! :scared:

Clarification

"Only on known European tracks in real circuts and the European city courses."

OK
This is confussing.

Are we allowing Citta di Aria, it is not a real track neither are the Paris tracks.

Heck, I have seen pics of Costa Amanti and it isn't even European.

Yes, hence the "European city courses" part of the rules. So Any european REAL track, or any euro city track.

err...Costa Di Amalfi is the island of Capri, which is just of the coast of Naples, Italy.

Slightly off-topic: You are absolutely correct that Costa Di Amalfi is real, but being pedantic I'm pretty sure CDA is on the Italian mainland hence the translation 'coast of Amalfi'. (I've just been on a school trip to the area so I think I'm right, but correct me if I'm wrong)

isn't this against the rules? and can't you decide for yourself?

Well no I couldnt decide for myself. You ever tried picking out your best photo?

And no - I am not asking for other people to chose my Final Entry. I have just asked that if people think I have made the wrong choice, they should let me know. I picked that one by myself - wasn't easy. If this is against the rules, then fair enuff, Ill edit my post, and lose the 2 HMs.

This months theme is pretty cool, giving it a lot of scope for creativity.
I was going to use the cobra shot but theres a lot of cobra competition this week, so I went for the action shot with the alphas at monaco chicane, I hope it was the right choice, ah well its all for fun anyway.

Nice pic! Don't let mine stop you from entering it, I think they're different enough to both be in there... 👍

Here's this week's one...

Final Entry

REMOVED - I DIDN'T READ THE ALL THE RULES
Watch this space though... :)

is that a 79' or 80' ? i never can tell the difference between the two. i think the rules say only cars from 50' to 79' so if thats an 80' you cant use it. :)

I guess it helps if I read ALL the rules... Better take it out then. Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Someone already used my car, but dangit I bought it just for this shot so I'm still using it! That's what I get for having the pictures sit on my USB drive for 3 days :ouch:

Hello, this is my first time I'm participating in a contest here. So, don't expect too much.
As a theme I've chosen the 'Ring and the Alpine 2nd gen car:

I've tried to create a special easy feeling with the photographs. I think the first one makes you feel at ease. Driving along a long road with beautiful scenery...
