I would not say Las Vegas is an exotic location
too many city lights .... which is a modern city to me
I know there are Palm trees ... but rest of the picture are just big buildings
That's why I said "old part of Paris is okay"
but for Monaco, I will accept it as long as no very big building inside
Nurburgring is acceptable, but it lacks of scenery, so it is not a good choice in my opinion unless you are very good at it.

Also if you want to change your entry, please edit your first entry post, not a new reply.

No problem, buddy. I have changed my entry but will work on another given all the tips. 👍

Vtecguy, I should have took your advise first time instead of mouthing off. :embarrassed: 👍

guys: read the explanation of exotic at the top of the first page on the first post were also the rules are placed. it's the last line.

there are plenty exotic places imo. Relaxing scenery isn't only palmtrees you know. :)

Here are my pictures. In the time that's left until the poll i will choose my final entry. 👍

FINAL ENTRY

runner ups:

Now lets see who is going to try to steel on of my ideas :grumpy:

j/k :dopey:

edit: Btw the pic of the-stig is a very smart pic. I see that many people, who come to vote without reading the explanations of the contest, will vote for him if he gets in the final. :indiff:

Hey speedthrill, not to sound mean or anything, but would you mind editing your post so that there are two lines of photos instead of one stretching out across the enitire page. I hate having to scroll sideways to read peoples stuff. Just do like I did in this reply. Thanks!

And BTW, I bet the-stig will not be picked in the final entry if he keeps that photo up. The theme is an exotic location with nice scenery, not of big rims on whatever that car is. Franz wont pick it!

thanks mate, i changed it. Don't worry, yuo didn't sound mean at all :)

And about the stig, well, he better changes his entry now i think cause when franz reads our thoughts about his pic he will surely agreed with us i think.
No offense to you Stig.

Heres a couple of pics I have taken for this. I wanted to hopefully get some comments to either help me make an educated decision, or help me take a new shot thats better.

I used my ASL Garaiya for the shots, its my favourite small car. The first 2 are in Tahiti, and the last was taken on El Capitan.

I like this as an idea, but could you have waited for the car to get further over the hill or raise the camera to get more car in?

I haven't decided on a car, or location yet :dopey: I'm looking at 'cute' cars and keep getting drawn to palm trees at the moment. Might have to have a look at photo travel mode, but I always seem to want to put a car/camera somewhere I'm not allowed :grumpy:

not to mention that guys wheels are chopped. I don't think you can get rims that big can you?

and about the polaroid, yeah it's cool and no you're technically not messing with the pic, but it's a quirky gimmick that might sway a lot of votes so I think it would not be good to keep.

FINAL ENTRY

I was wondering how long it would take before someone copied my location. I was actually going to use the Ginetta too, since it's smaller!! Good thing I stuck with the corvette....hope the perceived girth of it doesn't throw off my chances :indiff:

V8S should be okay .. isn't it about the same size as the alfa and MG?

anyway ... I will ask slick to use the normal one instead of polaroid edition if I put that alfa in top 20 ... so I hope the poll will be a fair play

JTSnooks > I know many people like to follow trends, that's why I am a little bit disappointed ... my advice for you is to submit your unique entry at the last hour (save your NOS for the end :dopey: )

FINAL ENTRY

Yea it's Costa di Amalfi, so shoot me :D!

Nice photo, the sloping sea would deter me from voting for it though - I'm a bit of a stickler for that sort of thing.
I'm not suprised the Costa di Amalfi is a popular location, blue skies bright sunlight - plenty of colour about. I'm presuming people are joking about 'stealing' location ideas :dopey: - there's not THAT many peaceful locations that don't look like racetracks lol.

PunkRock, nice picture with the Nissan on the harbour, just wondering how you would actually position the car like that for real...and get it off the harbour again, without a crane and without getting the car wet!

FINAL ENTRY:

This is my first posted pic, so be kind...

And one that was close to being my pick... I guess i'm just a sucker for autumn leaves.

FINAL ENTRY

Pulled over checking out the view.

Don't be surprised if one of these two don't get switched in and out before the contest is over. I can't make up my mind.

I've chosen an Alpine on a leisurely cruise around Monaco as my FINAL ENTRY:

I was going to choose this one, but I thought all that architecture might not be in line with franz's theme! :)
