I like that much better. Removing the Alpins BG helped a lot!

thanks ... I tried to remove all the background but it looked cheap
then I went to remove the top background only
so they could stay on road not hovering

franz I think you need to work on the masthead a bit, it needs to stand out a bit more. other than that the cover looks very nice.

and find somewhere else to hide the damned barcode!

oh and it should read 'Beautiful French Twin Sisters'

So, when did it go out of vogue to have the barcode on the BACK of a mag like they used to be anyway? IMO, The covers sure look better with them gone ...

how about make it semi-transparent?
I sort of learn from EVO magazine
they shorten the height of the regular barcode
but I just not good at hiding stuff ...
oh ... I forgot the price for my mag

Nice. I think I would put the "CARS OF THE 70'S SPECIAL" up closer to the MAG X title - so that the left-bottom of the "X" is a ways below the text.

I also like the treatment of the Skyline pic - nice and grainy. 👍

I like the title better with the gradient outer-glow.

Thanks man... I keep thinking the title is to much, but my girl friend said it's my best cover yet.

I am worried about the little pic down the left hand corner but oh well. I thought the old style background pic looks good.

LOL, I made it slightly transparent as it stuck out to much, it must be ok the way it is as you never picked at it. lmao.

There should be a most improved award, I might come close to winning something then

Kewl, anyway the next comp should always be up on sunday (yourtime) and then end the following sunday, and we also need a way of attracting more entries. I'll try and think of something.
