Hey, those new wheels really set off that Bug, Vr6!

Anyway, Here's my second Entry

It's a Monte Carlo Mini!!
Try to think of it as the old racing bits whacked onto a new Mini with a bit of my own style thrown into the mix.
Here's the original picture.

Enjoy, feedback appreciated.

That bug looks mean!!!! nice.....

and EVO, wow awsome job..... love what you did with that mini 👍

I updated the wheels..
Hahaha that's awesome! 👍 👍 👍 The rear wheel is so exaggerated but that's great. Great style.

I've very quickly made some flames. Pretty crappy job but I'd just wanted to see some flames, you know

@EVO: That's really good. But where's the name of the copilot? :P
The old mini is SO much better though, but that's not in GT4 anymore, is it.
I'd love to see a Fiat 500 in that style.

I've changed my GTO a bit. I've darkened the ads near the bottom and added the "GT500".

EVO .... I have a question for you
how can you radical blur the wheel this nice?
because it is very difficult to blur the wheel with this angle
I already noticed that since your purple EVO
or did you chop that from a different photo?

This is easily one of the best weeks quality-wise yet.
From Easy's 2002 to vr6's Bug they are all awesome.
Can't forget spyker's JGTC 300ZX.

I know... I know...

Select the wheel with your marquee tool. Than copy and paste it on another layer. Than free transform the wheel so that its shape is a nice, even circle. Than do your radial blur on it and whatever. Than transform the wheel back to it's original shape and the blur should be correct. That's how I did it anyway.

I used the same way as you did 440
but it is not easy to do when the angle is more

What I do is select the wheel, use the free transform tool to rotate it so that it is vartical, and then I put an elliptical radial blur on it, and set the settings to around 40-50%. That way you get a nice, clean blur and then you just rotate it back to the original position.

PS I'm sending my Final 20 through now, so I'm sorry but no more entries please.

You guys should do a theme where you turn a car into a junker, like adding rust, and different colored side pannels, and missing hoods and things like that. I think people would come up with some really funny lookin cars.

I like that idea.... would have some hilarious entries.....

Maybe week 21 will be that! As for me, I've just sent through week 20's theme.
And I put through at least one entry from everybody who entered into the top 20.

You do know that pretty much what those wheels look like is almost exactly what a drag bug looks like ( wheel wise). They run a smaller rim with a fatter tire in the rear and the fronts are thin and larger rim.

Unless your refering to the depth of the wheel well...in that case I didnt want to "build up" the fender. Without doing that....to me, it looks like its launching off the starting line and pretty accurate to the look of a drag beetle.

Glad you like it though....those flames are funny. I was going to try to add "airbrushed" flames, but it was too late. :indiff:

I thought of that when seeing spykerdriver's diarrea Miata :dopey:

@vr6:
Yeah I know. It just doesn't fit all too well in the fender. But it doesn't have to, it's great just the way it is 👍
