Gt4 Rally Photomode Competition Week 14 CLOSED

Thank you to all those that voted in the week 12 poll. Congratulations to Dr_Watson as the winner of Week 12 Rally Photomode Competition, Out of Control. And for those that didn't get a chance to see his great shot, here it is....

Now then boys and girls, Dr Watson has come up with a rather unique and interesting theme for this week. Poor ol Mr GT4 Driver is either gonna freeze or choke to death. And without any further ado, here's what all of us need to do for week 14.......

FINAL ENTRIES:

hm ... i wonder if the car in mind can take dirt tyres. gets sideways enough on its own, i dont see why not :D

I thought every car can use dirt tires?

There are quiet a few of the cars that you can't put dirt/snow tires on. The FGT for example. And I don't think you can put dirt/snow tires on any of the Group C cars. But that really doesn't matter for this week's theme. Maybe something to store in the memory banks for later though. :)

meh. my first three choices are out the window. the sl 55/65 doesnt take snow/dirt tyres and the 3400rs doesnt drop her top :|

this is definitely getting my vote! I hope this makes the cut tho!

^^ yeah it is funny
looks like Bob lost control and going off the cliff or something
he staring at you and asking for help
poor little guy
it looks pretty stylish as well 👍

dude... that is kind of a creepy photo.
now we just need more dirty ones. keep em coming 👍

that pic is one reason to click on the thumbnails.. ;) i'll see about mine 2nite.. i've been gone since friday..

but, its more fun to play in the snow than the mud ;)

And to add to that, I found it difficult to find a car that would actually have a dropped top on any of the dirt/gravel tracks. I tried the few convertibles I have in my garage and found that ALL of them drove with the top up on all the dirt tracks and they ALL had the top down on the snow/ice tracks. I haven't quiet figured out why that is. Kinda strange. Maybe PD didn't want Bob to choke or get his driving suit dusty while driving on dirt/gravel.

There are some pretty awesome looking photos so far. Keep sending them in so we can make Dr Watson actually have to pick 20 of them to put into another full poll. :)

that is kind of strange... to be honest, i'd only tried the snow tracks before i made up the idea; if anything i was expecting the tops to be up in the snow, not the dirt. I guess PD thought freezing to death is ok, but didn't want to get dirt on the leather. ;)

I noticed this as well, so i ended up takin snow shots. It would have looked good havin at least one gravel shot between all that snow :)

i'm a :dunce: i forgot how to take down the top :S

----NEVERMIND I GOT IT--- [i was trying dirt track]

You're not a :dunce: There's no way to tell it whether or not to drive with the top up or down. It gets decided for you. In the case of this week's Rally comp I think that the only way to get the top down is to drive your convertible/roadster on the snow and ice. I haven't found a car yet that let's me drive with the top down on the dirt tracks.
