Thank you to all those that voted in the week 13 poll. Be sure and congratulate suzq044 as the winner of Week 13 Rally Photomode Competition, German car at Costa Di Almafi. And here is her great winning shot.....



And now for week 15 suzq044 has a ripsnortin theme for us this week. Seems she wants to see us all jump. So without any further fanfare, here's what we need to do for week 15 (drum roll please).......

Week 15 Theme: High Flying Rally

ANY WRC Rally car in the air. The photo must be of a bonafide jump not just the car in the air. ANY track can be used as long as it gets the car airborne.
Further explaination: ANY vehicle that is described as a "Rally" car by GT4 AND has all the markings of a "Rally" car (to include the Rally "Raid" cars) is eligible

Entry Deadline: Saturday 27 August Midnight

The rules (please read them all).....

1. ONLY photomode pictures will be accepted. NO Photoshop, Photosuite or any other kind of enhancements/modifications allowed.

2. Use only your own pictures.

3. Use only Imageshack Thumbnail for forums (1) link.

4. Only one valid entry per week per person. Once a valid entry has been submitted, it may not be changed.

5. In the spirit of fairness (and anonymity), please don't post your FINAL ENTRY in a thread of any kind or your galleries until AFTER the winner has been selected. Also, please don't post HM's.

6. A system will be used in which the winner of each week's competition will choose the theme and Top 20 for the next week's competition however, the winner WILL NOT be allowed to re-enter the competition until the following week. The Top 20 entries will be placed in a poll to select that week's winner.

NOTE: If at least 20 entries are not received, ALL entries will be entered into the weekly poll and the previous week's winner will be eligible for entry.

7. As entries are received they will be posted here for your viewing pleasure.

Sorry for not getting this week's theme posted sooner. I was out of town on business and didn't return until late this evening. I'll try and do better next time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm sure we'll see plenty of GREAT photos again this week.

I wanted also to thank all of you who are "new" to this competition for your interest and participation. It's all of you folks that enter this competition each week that keeps it fun. I hope that in some small way I've been able to put a little bit of extra fun into your GT4 by hosting this little competition because if it weren't for all of you that participate this competition wouldn't survive. So thank you to everyone that continues to keep this EXCITING and FUN.

OK, since this seems to be a point of concern let me clarify the meaning of a WRC Rally car for this week's competition.

ANY vehicle that is described as a "Rally" car by GT4 AND has all the markings of a "Rally" car (to include the Rally "Raid" cars) is eligible.

I think that Susq44 will agree with me on this. By clarifying the eligible cars, it will give everyone a broader base of vehicles to choose from and give us more variety to look at other than the same 3 or 4 cars in 20 photos.
 
yes, agreed in that case rally 'raid' cars and the escort are allowed..
