Thank you to all those that voted in the week 22 poll. Congratulations to Toronado as the winner of Week 22 Rally Photomode Competition, Dirty Concept Rally. Just in case you didn't get to see it, here is his winning photo.......



For week 24 Toronado has this mission for us.....

Week 23 Theme: Paris-Tahiti Rally

ANY car at George V Paris or Tahiti Maze. Cars MUSt have the suspension set at the highest ride height and MUST have either a factory or after-market wing/spoiler installed and visible.

Entry Deadline: Saturday 05 November Midnight

The rules (please read them all).....

1. ONLY photomode pictures will be accepted. NO Photoshop, Photosuite or any other kind of enhancements/modifications allowed.

2. Use only your own pictures.

3. Use only Imageshack Thumbnail for forums (1) link.

4. Only one valid entry per week per person. Once a valid entry has been submitted, it may not be changed.

5. In the spirit of fairness (and anonymity), please don't post your FINAL ENTRY in a thread of any kind or your galleries until AFTER the winner has been selected. Also, please don't post HM's.

6. A system will be used in which the winner of each week's competition will choose the theme and Top 20 for the next week's competition however, the winner will not be allowed to re-enter the competition until the following week. The Top 20 entries will be placed in a poll to select that week's winner.

NOTE: If 20 or fewer entries are received, ALL entries will be entered into the weekly poll and the previous week's winner will be eligible for entry.

7. As entries are received they will be posted here for your viewing pleasure.

8. No voting for your own entry in the polls.

One more question though..What if the car has a stock suspension? You can't change the settings.

If you can, buy the racing suspension and raise it to the max. You can always remove it afterwards. We'd like to see whichever cars are used raised to the max. Kinda kills the idea behind the theme if it's not raised.

I love that Step Van. What a silly, yet so oddly right, picture.

That Ka looks fantastic! But the Step van is awesome too.

Hmm I'd just like to suggest that, when explaining the theme, I think it's helpful to structurise it a bit more, you know. Like in this case:
- Cars: Any
- Location: Tahiti, George V
- Suspention must be set at highest ride height
- Wing must be installed and visible

Makes it a bit easier to overlook and remember them.
It doesn't really matter ofcourse! but you know, if it's no trouble to do that...

I've got a nice shoot with 2 of which I can't make up my mind.

But I didn't have my flash memory at hand. If a shot is saved as film, and later developed and directly saved on the USB device, does it lose quality compared to immediately saving it as photo on the USB?

If it does, I'll have to send B-Bob out again , and hope I can find the same angles...

From the few times that I've saved photos that way, the quality hasn't suffered any in my opinion.
