Nurburgring wins both length and altitude change
btw ... where is Snow Lake? Don't tell me it is replaced by Ice Arena
Ice Arena looks boring to me (left, right, left, right .... finish!)
thanks for the scan Samberto

Isn't that the 'nursnow' track hacked out of prologue? The one where the track changes from tarmac to offroad/snow.

Good job again, Samberto. But Motor Sport Land 1? What, are they going to extend it to some bigger track or something? Or maybe make it a "Motor Sport Land Mini," which would be damn near a go-kart track. But anyhow, nice list. And if all this holds up, it would be cool.

Although Nursnow is hacked in Prologue
but there is possible PD taking away from us
however the list from the scan is not completed yet

motorsports land seems to have at least 2 versions in final GT4 .. nice indeed
imo ... PD seems to add more tracks by making different settings or sections
like Fisco, Suzuka, Tsukuba, Route5, Grand Valley .... etc
if this trend applies to most of the tracks, the F1 track of Nurburgring is very likely to be included .. 👍 👍

Not necessarily. In fact probably not. They make different sections of the track, but by no means for all of them, and as a general rule of thumb, not the real life tracks. I'm not saying its not possible but i'm not expecting it. So 👎 👎

From the scans how come Clubman Stage Route 5 and Special Stage Route 5 are under City Courses when from what we know from research here they are Original Tarcks. Well I thought they were original, not based on real locations!

Nürsnow is most probably = Snow Lake, as it was half snow - half tarmac, as in this lay-out on GT.no

you are right, but they've distinguished original tracks as only original full-bred racing circuits. CS R5 and SSR5 are the equation of a city street track that's why they're on that list with real-life-city courses. 👍

Nursnow=Snow lake=(Finaly)Chamonix.
Chamonix in GT4, is half tarmac and half snow.

Motor Sports Land wil include only one."Motor Sports Land2".
"1"is miss print. Meaning of "2",is just from "second generation".

The Motegi Ring's actual name is Motegi Super Speed Way.
So, it is a bare possibility to include GT3's "Super Speed Way"

In Japanese media, they are counting Suzuka Circuit for 3,
so.......maybe we must to recount courses.
The real circuits will be 17. Original courses will be 12(including test course).
City courses for 13, Dirt&Snow fot 7.

Real circuit & Las Vegas, Test course doesn't have reverse tracks.
(I think motor sports land too)
So, total number for courses is 77(including reverse).
Mr. Yamauchi said, it will be 90.

ADBAN,
Its my understanding that the track count will be 65 main tracks, 90 with layout variations (excluding reverse).

I'm curious to see if there will be any changes to the Seattle circuit. Near the end of the course is what I call the "bus stop" chicane on S Royal Brougham St. It's the right-left-left-right combination right after the long back straight down 4th Avenue S. When it was originally designed, the chicane ran through the south parking lot of the Kingdome. However, the Kingdome was torn down and a new stadium, now called Qwest Field, was put up in it's place. The south parking lot is gone and the Stadium Exhibition Center is in the way. If they update the track to reflect the changes, there's no way they can keep the chicane on Royal Brougham, unless they want to race through the convention center.

Dusk setting? I'd rather race New York in late evening or Tokyo after sunset. Need I say more? Then, the snow settings would be nice under sunset as well.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to post this, but here goes anyway...

Is there someone in North America who can post a real world picture of this place... Much like the comparo of the Nurb pics in another thread.

I was wondering how close it was to the original.

If they really want to make it look like Seattle, it should be raining. That would make the James Street climb a lot more fun.

hell yes.

and the 3d spectators should be a mix of computer geeks and snooty businessmen.l

The dusk setting in Seattle Circuit Reverse (I'm not saying "Seattle Circuit II" unless it's a totally different configuration) looks like it's going to rain anyways. Have the sun setting and the dark clouds loom over. And if PD were considering my hometown (Houston, TX, USA) as a race track and the setting was in the summer, there'd be clouds, rain, and heat.

Based on pictures, it looks like I was kind of right about the Cathedral Rocks deal. Another weird idea I had about Cathedral Rocks was that it was a European circuit that was more festive in its heyday and made for a nice Vintage Racing track. But it looks like a new-style GT rally race. For those of you who liked the raly experience in GTs 2 and 3, you'll have to learn to better understand the new nature as the road is potentially narrower during rallies. I'm sure the track selection will be as mind-blowing as all the cars available for your anxious hands to drive to the limit.

When I heard about it, I first thought of Cathedral Rocks as being a vintage circuit, sort of like the Goodwood Revival, a place where you'd want to throw a classic 70's racer around before anyhting else ...

Since we don't get Ferrari in GT4 is it too much to ask to get two iddy biddy tracks???

Namely Fiorano & Mugello... :D

That way when Ferrari finally makes it into a GT game, we'll be ready to blast them around those tracks... ;)
