Damn you bOi! I've done about 10 laps....nice work! Did you race the muscle car race? Or ddl the game save?

In case you haven't gotten the memo yet, Jpec, CFM runs the WRS now.

I wish I could run this week; I found the Superbird mission quite easy. But my mom "banninated" me from the PS2 until after finals are over, which leaves.........Monday evening?

oof.

T1: 22.999
T2: 48.006

Guys are you using TCS or not? I find it alot faster with it on...

lol i did the muscle car race again, because when i checked to see if i had the car in arcade mode i checked the wrong manufacturer lol PONTIAC~....

so i ended up doing the race for no reason, but it got me into the groove of muscle car~

Nope, I wouldn't say so. I also don't think the Tuscan and the Viper look similar. They're very different, marketed at different groups of people. The current boss of TVR is a racing driver, so the new cars are powerful but also very light, with a focus on handling and driver enjoyment. The Viper...well...it's a Viper...the less said the better probably ;)

I wasn't talking about marketing, I was talking about the body styles. The Viper is perhaps one of the best "affordable" street legal race cars. The Team Oreca Viper, which won the Le Mans for it's class was stock except for a wing and the stock engine was tuned to squeeze out over 600 HP. But your entitled to your opinion.

this is probably one of the worst handling cars in the game. I might not even do this week just so I will still like to play GT4. this is a time attack challenge. let's use cars that are made to be driven around corners.

Nope, I can list five off the top of my head right now(All without ASM):
1. Ford GT
2. Honda NSX
3. Saleen S7
4. Dodge Viper GTS traveling at about 250 MPH(try it, major oversteer even with ASM)
5. Cadilac CIEN

All you've got to worry about with this car is understeer which can be fixed with a little extra brakeing.

Kent, I for one love this combo. I would have loved it in GT3 if it had been available, and I will love it in the future. American Muscle on this track; replicating a legend, is the biggest, best thing to happen to the race in a long time. If you complain about it, then you're not fit to be racing here. Good drivers take whatever challenges are thrown their way. We could do a Pagani Zonda stock tuning on Sim Tires and Turbo 4 around Nurburgring, and you'd still have to race it (don't get any ideas, Kent).

I couldn't have said it better. 👍 However, I think I will try the Zonda with sim tires and turbo 4 anyway. Sounds fun.

Yes, TCS Only here boyz, and we can't even touch our tranny :( . Well 'bOi atleast you got some more practice in...lol. As I expected, you are now officially pulling away from me.....yikes! :scared:

Well the funniest thing happened....I got a faster time, without getting faster T times...hhmm.....improvement is improvement....

Well I think I"m done for the night, I'm gonna watch a movie...ALMOST too much GT4 stuff goin on as of late...speaking of....did you send me week 9 replay yet 'bOi?

Hmmm.. I will have to give this a shot. I'm going out of town on Friday though, so i wont be much competition, if any at all. And as far as last week's race, I only got maybe one good session, but then got swamped with work so I completely forgot to submit last night. D'oh! Well, good luck to all and perhaps you'll see my submition floating at the bottom of D2 and probably getting beaten by most anyone participating this week. But hey, all in fun, right?

HA! What a wonderful little combo ... really got that old world feel to it ... I love it! Still trying without TCS and good throttle control, but only time will tell on that one ... I had no idea that you could 'wheelspin' at 70mph for a good ten seconds, lol.

Shaved some two seconds off my total time by eliminating ASM:

T1: 0'23.502
T2: 0'48.546

I'm gonna need to get a little faster if I'm gonna keep up. Division 3 has sped up quite a bit...

Ran my first 30 laps of the week tonight. Honestly not finding it as difficult as I thought it would be, actually having fun with this car! Best splits so far:

T1 - 0:22.887
T2 - 0:47.450

Will give it another try before leaving for the weekend. :)

LOL, i didn´t even had my run yet. My slow bspec driver is still strugling agains itself on the Reneen 24 hour of Nurburgring. There´s some 8 hours left, so i lost the first day of this WRS.

Well, at least i will get the F1 again, as i had to sell it some time ago, to get those 4black babes. :D

Are you kidding me? 🤬

I'll talk to you all later on after I get a few laps in.
Till then,

Come on now Jpec, show Kent a little respect here. Can't we use our right to free speech around here anymore? I'm sure CFM isn't going to take offense, Kent did mean it in a deragatory way towards him, just the combo. Cut the man some slack, imagine how many complaints he's gotten in his career ;). Maybe criticism about a combo can help CFM make choices on other combos for future races 💡

Kent
Ok, new out look.

This isn't a bad race.
Just a challenging one.

He shouldn't race in the WRS for saying this???

 Are you serious?

Thanks Iceman,

You can't imagine how his comments got my blood boiling.
There was and is so much I want to say.
However, being a super moderator there is a great deal of restraint I must show... Both for the WRS and the GTP, I will try to hold my tongue.

Anyway, thanks for the credit Ice.

I wish I could show that level of restraint, I'd sure earn a whole lot less enemies in the WRS :(

I just can't imagine crossing swords with 'The Kent' :scared:

Some of you all trip me out.

Kolyana,
The Kent.
Thanks but no thanks, I would like it if people didn't really know me as a bad guy.

Kenny,
What's all the strictly forbidden stuff about?

CLEAR THE TRACK PEOPLE

I climbed into my scorched red banana boat (with oars). Started her up and proceeded to the starting line. Coming 'round the hairpin. Green lights ablaze, I stomp on the throttle. Engine hungry for fuel and breathing major air. Tyres screaming bloody murder.

I enter the first bend after crossing the startline with my tail stepping out only to be facing the left side of the course. I try, try, try, it's not working, try to countersteer to straighten the beast out. I exit the course left of the uphill chicane, mowing the grass up the steep incline, catching major air (and if permitted by PD) flipped the car end over end and over the wall into the grandstand. :dunce: :ouch:

Luckily, no-one was injured because no-one was there to watch the rookie driver make a fool of himself in turn 1. After being given another vehicle, with TCS, I've gotten better and threw away the oars and placed an out-board motor on it instead.

TCS is a life saver.

lol, I'm glad no one was there or else you would have killed more spectators than I did last week :)

Isn't it nice how they give us so many vehicles? This time it's like the Dukes of Hazzard, so many back up cars they had to do those jumps :)

Perhaps I should have included a smiley :)

Just imagine the soup nazi yelling it :dopey:

Ok, at first I was offended but as I look into your comments more I can see what you were doing... I hope.

Were you saying what you were feeling as if backing up Iceman? :odd:
Or
Were you saying that to mock Iceman's reaction to jpec's comments?

I'm interested to know what you really meant. :)
Without implied emotions through the use of smilies though. ;)

Please answer this question to end my concerns.

It was a stylized reply as if I was jpec, sarcastic in nature which would back up iceman's comments. Just trying to throw some humor on the situation. Sorry I originally offended you, but I meant to make everyone laugh.

I shall now include my mandatory implied emotion :)

Not sure what to say.

Trying to reply from jpec's view with a sense of sarcasm.

You'll have to excuse me for not intially reacting as you had hoped.
Please try and understand that I am actually offended by jpec's comments.

Just to put things in perspective...

It's three different threads I started and if you hadn't seen them it might give you an idea of why I wouldn't take jpec's comments lightly.
