Just tried this one and I am giving up allready. I hate race car weeks and i especially hate the f1 car.
I only have 0.3s time differnce between my best traction control lap and no tc lap. The no tc lap is actually the faster one belive it or not.

Oh well u wont see me for a couple of weeks until i have time again.

Holy crap, I'm as fast as the alien without TCS, when I don't use TCS... its a dark day :nervous:

When I can't motivate myself to go for it, I can't turn on alien mode and I'm 'just' one of you ;)

Nice job killing my thoughts of me actually being fast :sly:

Though in all honesty, this will get anyone better at throttle control if you turn TCS off. Probably helps that I drive a twitchy car for auto cross with like an inch of pedal travel for the brakes :dopey:

I tried it again and managed:

T1: 08.936
T2: 20.613 (.535)

Only lost .05 in sector 2 and .07 in the last sektor.
I'll try it again tomorrow, to get the time i lost on the track.

After having put in an hour or so on this one, I kinda like it. Wasn't too excited at first . . . guess I just had to get some heat in the tires. ;)

Doubt I'll get the extra tenth or so that I'm after, but I'll try to put in a few more sessions before the race week is up.

T1: 9.042
T2: 20.692
Gearing: 380km/h
TCS: On

When I can't motivate myself to go for it, I can't turn on normal mode and I switch to a different combo ;)

Which implies that I'm not running this week...

Well, I think I've done all that can be done. Put out a 9.374/ 21.230, which banks me right at superwally. Can't wait to see your final, mate. ;)

Cheers,
Corey

Likewise! Should be interesting.

I've been clubbing away here, now 9.224/21.085. I might be able to get a little more but I can't get a better T1 than 9.1 or so.

Suppose it would have been wise that I put "..for the moment." eh? Back to the drawing board. Maybe I'll be able to eke out some better grip with a 340Km rear end.. 310 is brutally quick, but maybe not the best. I keep topping down the back straight.

Cheers,
Corey

well, 340 is not for me but 310 is. has anyone noticed that if you don't pick the right gearing, just a sec after the 'go' signal the car changes direction just the tiniest bit, while if you do (310 in this case) the car doesn't change the way it goes?
anyway, after 20 more laps i improved my laptime by a staggering (to me anyways) .5 seconds.

9.621 - 22.427

gtbadboy here i come!

time submitted

I got so carried away with running the TT's I never got back to this ... so I submitted my best lap from early in the week anyway .. the splits posted by a few racers where enough to let me know I was gonna be lucky to grab 4th or 5th this week anyway ... well done to all and cya's in 103 👍

running the TT's
What's that?

Oh, and now that I'm racing this again, I notice that I lost a couple tenths at the line... You may be higher up than you thought... We'll see if I get anywhere tonight.

Submitting off my first splits, frustrating combo for me, no matter how much I improved splits, I was still slower at the line.

Here are my T times I'm sending in.
T1-9.457
T2-22.281

I'll be sending in this time because I wasn't able to get to the PS2 today.
I gave my brother my cold. :(

Sorry.
Samantha

Could see more, but I don't have concentration or motivation these days. Submitting original splits. Won't be too suprised to find you ahead of me Ron, maybe. :)
