GT4 WRS Week 102: Photomode Comp

WHAT IS IT?
The WRS Photomode Competition allows WRS'ers the opportunity to show their Photomode skills. You're task is to create a picture that can be used for the Week 102 results thread. At the end of the week all entries in this thread will be judged by myself or the previous winner (Sphinx) and a new winner will be determined.

WHAT ARE THE RESTRICTIONS
The only restrictions placed on the photo you create are:

• Photo must be 600 x 450 pixels
• Photo must relate to the Week 102 race
• Photo must contain the phrase "WRS Week 102 Results"
• Photo must be submitted before Tuesday the 10th of April

And that's it! Only one photo per competitor but feel free to update your entry during the week 👍

Any chance this weekly photomode comp can be changed to accept 3 entries each? there's only about 3 entries each week so 9 photo's to choose from would be cool, and it would make choosing a winner a bit harder but also it might just give me a chance if I can have 3 craptastic efforts instead of just 1
Also I usually get about 3 good shots and find it hard to choose one to submit.

Sounds good to me Kelly, although I don't know If I have time for 3 but it would be nice to see more pics .

I'm slowly learning what some of the tools can do, here's an 'out of the ordinary one'

i'd like to suggest to make a weekly poll where wrs drivers can vote for the best photocomp entry rather than last week's winner deciding on that. maybe make a poll on that poll suggestion?

I dunno about a poll on a poll, but a poll for the winner sounds good to me

I fear a poll may be a bit tough - after all, there's just one week to make the photo and decide on the winner. We can't do the poll while the results are up, or else no picture will be up during the week...

I see what you mean Metar! maybe a poll from saturday through to sunday night for the winner? Here's what I should have posted earlier in the week but forgot I know it's too late but here it is anyway...

I'm still only a beginner at this photoshop stuff

That's really neat, with the different view in the background... Perhaps with a more conventional text in white-grey would suit it better?

My technique for texts goes like this: A text of the color you wish in a new layer, then copy that layer. The lower layer gets a shot of Gaussian Blur to create that "halo" which makes the text seem more fitting-in. Another option is having the blur-layer on a colour opposite or contrasting to the actual text.
