The archives are back.!👍

esh, I think most of us do use the manuel transmission.

I do as well. Was just wondering if that's how some of you were edging me on times. :sly:

I gave this a quick try last night as I've not fired up the ps2 in a while, fumbled around with the ds2 a bit and mucked with the gearing. Just a ran a decent session this morn with 290 top speed.

18.118
49.838

I've been quicker in the last sector, I dumped .2 from my best trying to make it to the line nice and clean. I'll be back...

Good to see you here my friend! 👍 I can't race this week but I hope to be around for the next.

You sure you can't squeeze in some wheel time Jake? I remember us having a tight battle on this track in a jgtc mr2 once 👍

Slowly getting a feel for it, and this one with a better last sector :)

18.057
49.743

Still not close to the fasties but I'll keep chiping away, should be a close week at the line.

this lazy member (that invests no time at all in helping the wrs community by doing churns like luxy ) would like to know to what extent other members know of these rulings and abide by them, please?

a scan of very recent posts gave other examples of so-called 'slang' used without any comments from moderators (no offense mates!):

esh/kinda bombed
jerome/don't know how well I nailed the last section, wasn't bad but dunno if it could be better
kenny/ditto
bart/hot damn

but i'd rather like to close this discussion please and go on having fun racing the best game in the best racing community 👍

I cant beat my T1 time, it seems that it is very fast :indiff:

In the 2nd on the other hand i am way slower :scared:

For now i stick to my current splits....

I've managed to grab a few laps here and there throughout the day while helping kids with homework and phone calls and such...

18.113
49.673

Very close to my goal at the line now 👍

George, the honor would be mine! I think it's the 11 hour drive that keeps me from racing with you guys.:ouch: If I still lived in Windsor it would be a no brainer eh?

Nice improvement there my friend. That 51.540 looks mighty good.👍👍

No improvements in t1 or t2 this morning but, I did knock off .2 at the line. I did see a t2 of 50.8xx but botched the esses and cut the last righty with three wheels just barely off the track. :ouch: First sector is pretty solid and my finals are all very consistent, with in a few 10ths. Ran 20 or so laps this morning and except for the first two or three all were pretty nice........for an old guy!:)

Kenny, Thanks for the tip and don't help George too much now, he'll be pushing me hard soon enough. :scared:
We will have to get you here, thats all! What state are you in?
I have three teachers to learn from!!!

kenny ready for lan ? .

Yes I am. I'm still sore from therapy on Friday. And to think, I only did 6 minutes of exercise.
Here is a couple of pictures for this week. To see the full size picture just click on the preview.
This car is not very photogenic.

I managed to get back a day early but it's off to Boston on Monday for another 4 days. Work work work.... Race hard, Kenny 👍

Still lazy grammar by not using capitals.

Talking about respect for the racing community, constantly writing down names with no capital is showing NO respect.

Fix that shift button.

Any tips on how to get a 17.8 T1? I can't even see how to do 17's. :nervous: Thanks in advance ;)

I have not been back on this one since the first night and I'm pretty sure Superwally's splits will have a better end section than mine so I dont expect a win as I wont be racing it again ..
( I'm at MEN arena tonight watching Linkin Park 👍 )

I will make a short vid of my lap up to T1 (that has 17.8) if that will be allowed and post it here within the hour as long as I'm not breaking and rules :) ... I think a vid will explain more than words tbh ;) I will wait for confirmation and post a vid when I get some if its allowed

edit: Got the all clear to post it from Jerry 👍 here's a small clip of my lap ..

Thanks a lot for taking your time to do this. 👍 Interesting gearing use, and I noticed you go a bit faster than me on the first left (not counting the small kink).

If I can't get closer to your T1 on my next session, I'll submit my first session time, as I can't match that last sector.

George, I'm in West Va. on a mountain. No airports near by, I'd have to drive. Then from the middle of May to October I'm in Maine. It's very nice up there but I have no internet and I'm A.W.O.L. from WRS for a few months. We're trying to figure out how to access with my lap top so I can continue racing though the summer without it costing my first born child.:scared:

updates here:

18.549
50.734 (finally broke into the 50's)

I think I can improve but alas time is short and I've got some catching up to do around the house. It's been so cold up here I haven't been very motivated to go out there to cut and stack wood.:ouch: I've also got some finish work to do in my new game/tv room and She who must be obeyed has been very patient.....................up to this point. :sly:

Jerry, another great combo:tup:👍 While I'm drawn to cod4 I really do love WRS and those who participate every week. Keep picking those combos Jerry and I'll just keep running them.............regardless of outcome!!:sly:

Haha,
you have no idea what I have in the pipeline for next week. If you did then you may want to edit your post. :sly:

Hint: 10 laps, but with a twist :sly::sly::sly::sly::sly::sly:

gtpbadboy have to think on getting you here.
do you have wild boar on your mountain and whitetail ?
Sorry this was georgetheracer

Ron - Thanks for posting. Yesterday, I found myself watching your video of the JGTC MR2 from week 112. That was my first race in WRS. Some quick and smooth driving from you! 👍

Hoping to work out a submittable time today, being out of town until Friday night did not help my cause on this one.

Kevin

I had my last session. Seen some 17.9's and 49.5's, but I still couldn't get a last sector good enough to beat my previous lap.

Submitting now and hoping that my last sector is really good.

10 laps, sounds nice and challenging... :mischievous: But this week must be remarkable as the deadline will be on my birthday :sly:

Nice splits! I do remember the MR2, still love that combo. I take any excuse to run that car in LAN too. :sly:

I have been away from the console all week and although I am back in the North East I am not in my home town. Today I'm taking a break with my girl in Brooklyn then tomorrow off to Boston to teach Lightwave 3D...

I have plans to build another cockpit with flat-screen for the Brooklyn location. Already have the 👍👍 from my Lady, as long as I paint it purple. I think a House of Kolor Shimrim metallic purple would make her happy. :mischievous:
