Hey Sphinx I haven't done the WRS since around week 50, I ran about 35 weeks if memory serves me as a Div2 driver, am I welcome to take part again in this series? I've been doing all my OLR at Long race series ie: the WES and the JGTC which is now the Super GT for the last 5 seasons.

EDIT: Just checked leaderboard, I raced from week 8 thru week 46 before defecting to Long Race Series.

However, I'm not sure if it was clean. Between the second and third turn(The sharp,uphill right) after T1, there is a piece of tarmac off on the left side. I had all four wheels on it, over the white line. Is that off-limits?

Haven't been able to improve my time so far, though I have improved my time in all three individual sectors. Putting it all together in a single lap is not easy..
I've been running on 220 and 230 all week, guess I should try a bit higher like the rest of you.

That'll be allowed. Just make sure you don't include the grass area just before it. 👍

Managed a respectable improvement

But what kills me is I had a 18.048 / 49.691 (no, this is not the return of formula_seeker) going and blew it by putting a third wheel on the grass exiting the chicane/bus stop complex .

Tried 230 for about a half hour and came to the conclusion that the stronger acceleration is not enough to offset the additional shifts needed - so went back to 240.

That said, I think that the final results won't be this close because the final set of corners is what separates the men from the boys (so don't worry about my time, I'm a teen )

No improvements in t1 or t2 this morning but, I did knock off .2 at the line. I did see a t2 of 50.8xx but botched the esses and cut the last righty with three wheels just barely off the track. First sector is pretty solid and my finals are all very consistent, with in a few 10ths. Ran 20 or so laps this morning and except for the first two or three all were pretty nice........for an old guy!

Kenny, Thanks for the tip and don't help George too much now, he'll be pushing me hard soon enough.

MT is always better. Once you get the hang of it, your times will be much faster. It gives you more control of the car. 👍
