This ones for vexd.....
I've had 10 playstation2's in 3 years for various reasons. Had one fall down a flight of stairs and still worked!!!!
For some unknown strange reason i managed to drive OVER one that was in my bag and got it stuck in the wheel arch. My GT3 disc box disintergrated ....
Shockingly enough both PS2's still worked. If you want Quailty Assurance look no further than me! BTW they were the old PS2's haven't done anything to my new ones yet!! I'll keep you posted!!??!!!

@Lotus ... hehehehe, the competition in the WRS is *NOT* good for the old heart ... poor baby isn't used to being surrounded by so much testoserone, certainly COMPETING against it :P I swear that my apartment mate thinks that I'm loopy, as all he can hear is "That's it baby, stay with it .... stay with - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NONONONONONONO!!!!! YOU STUPID COOOOWWWWWW!".

One day someone will remind me of my age and I'll calm down a little. Either that or my b/f will build me a cockpit and then we'll really get down the business :P

I couldn't afford the DFP btw, but it was an awesome purchase. After a friend paid me back $156 he owed me, I figured it was too close to the final price and was - perhaps - a sign from the heavens :P Seriously, it was waaaaaay better than I thought it would be and I'd hate to drive without it.

@ Teledriel ... I'm sure that you'll put in a few good laps and shave off a little more time. I mean, the sport in me wishes you all the best ... the competitor in me hopes you skid off on the chicane. *cough* :)

Just a reminder, in case of any confusion;

Deadline for submission 22 hours from now.

See you all at the finish line, and PLEASE don't forget your division when submitting. Thanks again.👍

Finally put some more laps.
T1: 19.812
T2: 37.968
T3: 58.343

There seems to be much room for improvement though I'm not sure if I can put any more laps on it.

sjaak68
I have also a 58.640. :eek:

3 hours old
I saw a T3 close to it.
I looked at it so much that two seconds later I was lawnmowing outside of the final turn :D
59.093 is my best clean save.

Well, time submitted:
T1: 19.670
T2: 37.978
T3: 58.219

I saw a 37.6 on T2 but I went lawnmowing in the shiqane..

Great combo, pity I didn't give this one too much time.

Time submitted.

No more updates from me with that combo. I had 3 session (about 50 laps) and i made some better T times but couldnt connect them together :/

Luxy i play with DS2 (AT)

Submitted too, no improvement either.
I haven't raced that many laps since week 84. But I had won div 2 that week, and I won't even reach the top 20 tomorrow :(

hellooo everybody,

new to the WRS, but watching my buddy hOt6o4bOi play has made me want to join the series too :D

I want to be in div.3 too because div.2 looks too hard, would it be ok if i were directly put into the div.3 without having to qualify?

with sum good coaching from hOt6o4bOi i was able to obtain a lap i never thought possible, i use to do consistent laps that was 5 whole seconds slower then my best for the week sooo here are my T times :D

T1 : 0:19.652
T2 : 0:38.291
T3 : 0:58.688 Using the DFP~

Time submitted, Excited for WEEK 3!! :crazy:

Time submitted:

19.683
38.188
58.570

Didn't spend a lot of time on this combo so looks like I'll be at the back of division 1 yet again. :rolleyes:

Haven't been on GTP much, but I was able to race a little bit. Submitted a 1.19.728/38.563/58.922. Not too happy with the amount of time I got, but the time was average. Looks like I'll be in about the same place.

Just a quick kudo's.

Todd, Cyrill and Luke ~ You all have your hands full this week with all the racers and times to be submitted. 👍 to you all and keep the hard work going.

For the rest, please be considerate when submitting your times and remember your Division #. I know some may not relize what will be accomplished this week. But, in my discussions with Nat today, and looking back at the numbers, I just got to say WOW. You thought Week #1 was big, look at this as of Todd's update today:

Division 1 ~ 23 Racers
Division 2 ~ 62 Racers
Division 3 ~ 71 Racers

That a GRAND TOTAL of 156 RACERS!! (I think that is about double of Week #1) So I can see all ready that the results will take time to process and get posted.

See ya all in the pits, tuning up for Week #3. (Is there an extended pit area for all us yet :P )

Teledriel
That a GRAND TOTAL of 156 RACERS!!

Boy, do I miss the days in which all I had to do to end up in the middle of my Division was doing a few laps and submit.

Now, with 3 times the racers, I have to work my @ss off, and the outcome is still going to be the same: I'll end up in the middle of my Division, getting beat even by some Division 3 racers :scared:

The beauty/frustration (the latter more than the former) of OLR :D

Wow, that's a LOT of people

It means that if you get in the top 10, you are GOOD

I think I'm at 11 lol so I'm not quite 'GOOD' hahaha

By the way, I noticed something while doing all those laps. With the DS2 we all know that the buttons are touch sensitive. However, I noticed that if I was for sure about to fall off a corner but not by a whole lot, if I mash down the brake very hard I wouild stay on the track, and I was able to cut my time down a bit by entering late into the first corner. Is this only an arcade mode feature?

Yay!! On the final day i managed to put a great 1 hour session in after 8 hours of work too. Guess i do my best when i'm tired :confused:

Old: -----------------> New:
T1: 0'19.481 -------> T1: 0'19.488 (so slow through T1...)
T2: 0'37.495 -------> T2: 0'37.378
T3: 0'57.466 -------> T3: 0'57.413

Time Submitted!

Time submitted for me, left .2 on the track if I had had more time to run.

Time submitted.

Its bad, but i just couldnt find the drive this week. see you all in WRS week 3 :cheers:

Hello Fellas...I'm new here to these boards. Just managed to put in my qualifying lap about an hour ago and managed to get into DIV#2. I was informed that this round was coming to a close so I put in 10 laps and got me a time I can post.

first and final time:

T1 : 19.748
T2 : 38.032
T3 : 58.376

This looks like a very well organized competition and ya...wanna say thankyou for allowing to be a part of this and goodluck to all.

So close, yet so far :indiff:

The last hour and a half did not bring any new light, hope or improvement.

I will have to submit what I have, even if it could have been at least 0.3 faster - had a T2 of 37.6xx on one of my last laps, got promptly killed by the chicane.

Time submitted.

You have to qualify. You can't just pick a division. There's no point in submitting a time if you haven't qualified,

Did one last session, and improved, I left bout .150 out on the track, but damn those top times are TOUGH

T1: 19.515
T2: 37.584
T3: 57.614

Awww man, i went to the store last nite to get my new psTwo, so i could do a final session before i slept, and as i pulled the car up in front of the store, my cell phone went.
It was the other half, she'd fallen off a ladder, no puns please, and needed a hospital quick.
So i had to go get her, and take her there, which took all nite, by the time id got home the store had been closed for like, 2 hours, so i had to get my new ps2 this mornin on the way to work, meaning i couldnt drive any more, and i had to submit the first decent time i got last week.

Its a good excuse isnt it?
I dare anyone to beat that......

Anyway, time submitted, i hope i dont get so thrashed next week!

Good luck everyone!!!

My new PSTwo is sooooo wicked and tiny!
I love it. Something good came from it all....
