GT4 WRS Week 20: "French Revolutions"

Found this a great combination but i was too inconsistent lap by lap to string together a lot of decent laps, i used 240 gear ratios at was hitting the limiter on the end of the straight so guess my times lost in the tricky tight sections, but im chuffed with my overall time.

Im actually wondering if that fast left sweeper has to go down as one of the best corners in GT4, and changing the Clio down rapid fire from 6th to 3rd at the end of that straight is just great.

It will be interesting to see the times this week because so much time can be made up in the last sector. There could be a great deal of shuffling of the current leaderboard.

Dang! My 42.146 isn't safe yet! You're right about gaining/losing time in the last sector. Good thing the last sector on my fast lap (so far) is within a hundredth or so of my best overall last sector...

I may have to pad my margin a bit to try to get my first division win but it's gonna be hard finding time tonight...

BTW, I too was driving pink! (NOT what it sounds like, you sickos!!)

I was just getting so tired last night; I just wanted to reach the goal I had set myself so when I finally got it (at 3:30 am) I just coasted into the wall in relief.

Now that I have my max drive, I'm going to start pushing a little bit to see where I can end up. But I hope I don't have to spend this much time every week...

finally some time to play since wednesday... 40 mim session, off to more laps... new splits are:

T1: 14´211
T2: 41´855

finish just ok, but i enter "safe mode" because i don´t have to much time and i might not be able to beat that lap... in the end, cut 0´4 of my previous lap... in overall, according to the leaderboard, my time would put me in third, but i think i lost some time in the last sector... lets see if i can improve a bit until the deadline...

My last sector was half a second quicker than I have been so far, so this lap was a solid one (for me anyway). I know i am no where near the top spots, but I at least feel that I accomplished something here! 👍

Well, broke my goal by over a tenth. Things were really clicking tonight and given time I think I realistically could have shaved another 0.1 - 0.2.

Submitting:

T1 13.975
T2 42.080 (wasted a big lead on my ghost, slower than my previous fast sector by 0.06")

Third sector my fastest though. 0.125" faster.

Great week, had a blast, things just came together.

Due to various power outages and some serious beer drinking I couldn't manage to improve my current lap time - beer doesn't have anything to do with it, I promise: I couldn't beat my time even while I was sober

...Therefore I am submitting and hoping for the best 👍
I quite didn't reach my goal and left at least 0.3 in the track somewhere, but I had fun nonetheless.

Yeah this week was a blast, never knew that track was so un-even ... it's like bloody cobblestones or somethin' haha.

Did my best lap last night with a T2 of 1:42,5 so I'm hoping for a top 5 finish in division 2, but that's probably pushing my luck, would probably be my 1st top 5 as well ! you guys are damn fast ... I'm sure BC5 will be no problem ! 👍

This car was a absolute blast to drive, can only imagine what it would do on a smoother track !

I'm submitting, still tons of time left on the track, I'm still .5 off where I want to be.

The time I'm submitting had a 14.5 T1, but a 42.5 T2....If only I could have done that on one of my few 14.1 T1s....

I believe I have only completed about 15 laps this week, and restarted another 115....

I hope my first D2 run goes well!

WOOT WOOT! i beat my final time by .6 of a second.. although my splits were slower! haha! thats how badly i stuffed up my final sector, although my gut feeling tells me im still in last position for division 2

Well, my bad run continued. I did manage to knock 0.15 off my time however I had a T2 that was like 0.4 better than my old lap...sigh...boy I found this week tough!

T1: 0'14.408
T2: 0'42.848

I can't complain with the T2 it's within 0.2 of my best but the finish was really not that great. Well I'm submitting, hope I can put a better lap together for the next challenge.

i just have to get better with this waiting thing... right now i have 41´8, minorshunt has 41´9 and Z. has 42´0...

i´m just so curious to see how i did in the last sector... i think i´ll finish behind them, but... oh well, just have to wait some...

i also crossed the barrier they talked about, by some, just don´t know if that´s enough... (there are so many second barriers that guys are talking about that i don´t know each one... one of them, only veil and curtis beat it for what it looks)

compared to hot604boi ghost that he sent to me, i lost some time in the end, but whem i was in my 41´8 lap, i´ve entered safe mode and didn´t risk anything in the fast left after T2...

5th overall would be awesome if i get it... with much less effort than last week´s race...

i think in the next 30 minutes we will have that...

usually the results and next week appears one or two hours after the deadline for the races... if you want to see what CFM is doing, just click on his name and see the profile... it will show his lat activity online...
