Do you have it in your garage?

If not you will,i am afraid, have to buy it!

Don't know if it shows up in any of the used-car dealerships tho, you might have to pay full wack for it matie!

thanks for the swift reply 👍

42.834....

Seems to be a problem, FPV obviously supplied my car with 500KG of weights in the boot....its the only explanation i can come up with as to why this things scrapes its arse under acceleration and understeers like its trying to shred its tyres...can one of you aussie guys please confirm this car isnt this bad in real life???

💡

Put a wheel at each corner of my couch with tyres made from re-cycled rubber-bands, stick a lawnmower engine into it, get my missus to cobble a suspension together out of knicker-elastic, pencil erasers and empty Biro tubes, and use lego bricks to make an adjustable gearbox!

That mite handle and go better!

Might not even continue this week!

Neil

...... ive seen people who strap engines into armchairs before and can confirm they do indeed handle better than the "GT" :yuck: !

Like the track, but the car..... :yuck: the less said the better perhaps. If the handling of this car is accurate in GT4, I really pitty the IRL owners.

Anyways, managed a T1 of 42.574 so far

The car drives a whole lot better IRL. The power and weight feel fine (yes it really is that heavy) but the suspension is way too soft in the game. But you have to remember that this car has not been designed as a real sports car, it is a poser based on a family sedan.

Before any of the other Aussies hassle me - YES, I am a Falcon man through and through, but the stock car is still a poser. Go Seton!! :dopey:

Great Combination!!!

Fun to read the opinions of a mostly normal car. And being shod with normal tires too. This is closer to RL than many of the races and challenges posted on-line.

Hope I get the time to run it.

Driving Aids = 0

Hope to see you all on the track

42.077...seem to be getting somewhere...

Nice one Dave,

Ah well, was top of the board for a while at least...

For a laugh( ) took this car to the test course........

It took 3/4 of the lap to get from 145mph (4th) to 177 in 5th! :yuck:

The 5th gear must be an overdrive, thank god we won't be having to use it this week.

I think my game is defective, they forgot to put brakes and a steering device on this car, anyone else run into this glitch. But it sure brings back memorys of driving a school bus, except the school bus handled a bit better. No wonder I've never heard of this particular collection of car parts(they do use car parts, right?) I envy you guys in Australia, being able to drive on both sides of the road, when you manage to get on a road with this incredable POS. I thought the Yugo was bad....sorry Yugo. This is gonna be fun, hope I peak early, so I can delete this thing from my garage. How much do I have to pay to get rid of it.

Sorry Dave! :)

New T1 of 41.978 👍 👍

The car is still a bloated wart-hog, and grip is none existant. Plus once it gets out of shape (oversteer-wise) it's completely impossible (for me that is) to drift with control.
As you apply countersteer, it starts to respond correctly, then snaps your arms off at the elbow and either piles into a wall or spins-out!

It's like being high-sided on a bike!

Frustrating.

But will keep at it!

Neil

LOL, you guys have gotten spoiled by the ridiculously unrealistic levels of grip that R5's offer over the last few weeks. Back to reality people.;)

Well you could at least have weaned us off them by letting us use sports tyres this week.

Cruel Fiendish Misscreant

Had some laps to get aquainted ..... this car is a nightmare! :scared: especially braking on bend 1 and 2 .... eventually I got a clean lap with 41.196 as my sector.

Will try this crazy combo again soon :P

Ron.

Nice split Ron!

Only .8 faster than me, for a change.

Either your running slow, or i'm goin faster than i think?

Neil

Sooo many Casio signs....:), and the track I suggested during the week! 👍.

Now even though jase86 is in D1, He is still my target this week, I've been waiting for a car without Tyres-of-Glue to give him a real show. (I hope...)

I'll give this a run right now!

I say your driving it well mate and you'll soon be all over my sector 👍

It aint easy at all but i suppose these combos actually grow on people more the ones with heavier cars and a brake timing test on the main bends! they are frustrating yet a great challenge to your mind  I think I'll be enjoying this more on my next session.
I reckon I can push around a 40.7ish sector 1 eventually ... that would be about my limit there 👍 .... I'd need to borrow Hotboi's shoes to take any more than that ;)

Laters 👍

 *tsk, tsk, tsk* Holden fans...

Starting to get the hang of this beast, I'm really glad we're using normal tyres this week, racing on super slicks is fun and all but I like the difficulty of this better. Here's my new split:

T1: 0'41.498

Unfortunately I don't really know what makes a good T1-Finish but I'll just keep throwing this bus around till I knock another second or two off I guess.

Here's a couple of stats if people want to compare:

Cross Start/Finish Speed: 189km/h (Can't seem to get 190?!?)
First left kink after S/F speed: 170km/h (Don't think I could go round any quicker)

I'm liking this week already 👍

some more laps and thats me done for tonight :)
40.836 👍

Yep its a nice combo afterall ... Toddie does it again :P

for any1 saying the car is a tank

just imagine putting your RL car onto the limits, the freaking tires will not give the grip you expect

the Road tires show that once pushed past the limit of the grip from the tires, the car will not turn.....

so either slow down... or keep giving yourself understeer

lol casio! well u might get me this week, i dont have much time this week! but ill try not to disappoint ;)

Wow i dont even remember the last time i participated in WRS! Well i couldn't stay away any longer and gave this round a little session. I think we should be using normal tires A LOT more often :).

So far, i've managed a T1 of 0'41.178. Still need to correct a couple of brake points in T1 and i should have a 0'40 T1.

Well here it goes, my public humiliating splits....its no 40.8xx (RON! 👍 ) But its a start for the first hour, but I'm done for tonight :) .

FPV GT '04 at Suzuka West

T1 - :41.465

EDIT: Hey sorry about the delay with our site Curtis, feel free to send me some more replays, I've been a little swamped with...uummm.....things....with um...nice eyes lets say...lol. I'll try to get to updating everything tomorrow.

My only advice is when you get to that point in the track when you start thinking it's about time to brake, you're way late. The trick is to brake before your brain says brake. I can't do it !

Session#1 and I may have already peaked;
42.564
