GT4 WRS Week 26: "Feline Fireball"

had a quick shakedown now, 182 km covered, 0.3 left yet. The lap was very good, altough i was gay and lost probably 0.150 after T1, maybe 0.080 in the last corner, nothing much further.

T1 - 0'12.638
T2 - 0'27.460
T3 - 0'55.282

Im abit far from the barrier i wanna break, and i dunno if its even possible to break it.
 
Does anyone know approx. how much money I must spend to drive the WRS this week (car + all modding necessary)? At the moment I'm having 57,000 I think.
 
Tim, I tried to get in here and update it right after your post so you could bask in the limelight of being TOP ... but I was a tad slow, sorry :(

And i thought i was racing fast.....

T1 12.982 - lost .1
T2 27.951
T3 56.626 - lost .1
End - lost another .2

Have to take another look at my settings, and dont say you havnt changed anything yet vielsidebr, or ill cry, lol...

haha something i noticed is that im not good on settings, since all stock and the changes i made, there´s few difference. Im sure that with some better settings, i can break that myth barrier i want. :scared:

Not done anything for the setup yet and still getting used to this car. Good fun though.
 
I guess my settings are horribly slow seeing as im nearly as good as i can go on my current settings, and im loads behind....well more than usual, im usualy a fair bit back

Exactly the same T3, but more than 7 tenths quicker over the lap...I'm not sure how that happened (but I seem to be losing a shedload of time in T3 anyway)

Had a 12.753 but ran slightly wide on the exit just before T1 :mad:
 
Evening Guys and Gals!

First time i have had the pc on, let alone internet connected since yesterday early-after, been REALLY busy.

VERY nice combo, love the track, and what can i say about the car.......A BEAUT!

OH and like early Ford's, Jag's should only ever be one colour....

heh, all i havn't done is formula GT and a couple of enduro's.
only 24hr i did was the lemans for the r8

Um yeah, it sucked I pretty much had my ps2 on almost a month SOLID, I'd run a few hours at a time every monring and nite and did NOTHING ELSE on the weekends...*PUKE!* but i did it and it really sucked big donkey d!ck! But I guess now that i have the black F1...its ALMOST worth it....awe who am I kidding its WAY worth it!

That was my game plan too, but about ten hours into it, my ps2 had been on for about 5 days, and I just didn't dare leaving it on any longer.

Gave the rest of the job to B-spec Bob, because I really wanted the F1. Still feel guilty about it though... But hearing that you didn't have a problem leaving it on for a month, gives me new hope. Probably will A-spec it somewhere this fall then :)

Anyway, back to WRS, seems like this cat may have some pretty sharp claws :P I'll have a go at taming her right now
 
Um, yeah it really REALLY was nerve racking, because I have well over 200 ps2 games :drool: and to not have it work...well I just wont go there. :nervous: . I just wish that they didnt screw us on Mission 34 like they did, what BS is that guyz? I had to cheat that one once I found out the details....stupid fu&@$rs!

Hmmmm.......I'm staring at the leaderboard and noticed how close I was to the Div1 guys. I'm never this close. Now I really want to break that 56 sec barrier. I gotta get my game face now :mischievous:

Will post settings maybe tomoz, when i get them nailed down that is, all i will say for now is NO aids (as usual), brakes at 8/6, RH 99/99, gears auto 13

Lots of time to be found/kept in the first sector
second sector isn't too bad
third sector could stand some improvement, but it's again not too bad

Anyone else managing the final chicane at 80mph on entry, and exiting at 75mph?

This is one of my favourite tracks from GT3, used to do endurances round here in an RX7 if i needed to relax. And the XJ seems to handle pretty similar.

YES Apricot Hill, my favorite track in the game! I can tell I'm going to have fun with this one.

Except since I have to set-up and tune, I'm going to be pretty awful this week, I might just leave everything standard, maybe put in a tad of understeer if it doesn't have any and see how I go.

Never mind, i'll get the yes,rainbow,ELP,APP,Floyd and metallica pumping in the morrow! :cool:
