hmmmm......

I tried some more.

And i aint trying again.

That Collectable Furry Minotaur has managed to combine a car with a track that has tested us all this week, and i think we should all thank him for it.

It has really shown us what drivers we are, and will point out those who are committed and those who make a small effort and still perform, when the results are out.

For me, im done this week i think. The evening may produce some time to try again, but i doubt it.

Yo! Luxy!!

T1: 26.375
T2: 1'01.133

Well, I finally beat my goal with three hours on and off of racing last night. T1 is .1 slower but I made it up. I found that it is very very hard to do a competitive T1 but not so hard to do the rest of the track.

T1 - 26.417
T2 - 1'00.972

I'm submitting to CFM now :)

Just submitted my time. Had no more opportunity to try to beat my best lap.. Could possibly have improved marginally but couldn't really be bothered putting in the extra hours.. Pretty happy with my time, at least I reached my own goal! 👍

Cheers!

Congrats, Alpine and kennythebomb, for breaking into the 1'00s! 👍 I will have one long session with this tonight, so expect me to join the 1'00-club soon :P

Oh and Alpine, thank you very much for that description on the long left corner, will have to try that approach :)

Ok I submitted my time the other day. I didnt get much chance to practice but I did a so so time. Good luck in the leaderboard y'all. 👍

I had an unexpected business trip come up last week that took me away from home and my PS2. In fact I am still away thru Wednesday of this week. On the plus side it's warm here and the surf is up so it's all good.

I only got one 30min session in and with a T2 of 1'01.6 I am well off D1 pace, not even worth submitting that time. Interesting combo. Evos aren't my taste but I couldn't think of a better test for one than Autumn Ring.

Hopefully I'll have some more time this week, not to mention a car that doesn't like to pivot under the driver's seat. :)

Last chance for me tonight... still languishing in the 1.01.7xx region for T2, but had a slow T1 with that, so I now I can get around 0.3 quicker... still, will be nowhere near breaking the 1.01 barrier... good work to those who have, esp. the D2 drivers who have done it... 👍

This is driving me crazy! :banghead: Best T2 now is 1'01.019! It's soooo close. Must.. break.. the.. 1'01-barrier! :nervous:
Well, at least I was two tenths faster on the finish-line

edit: Time submitted, couldn't get under 1'01 :(
T1: 26.174
T2: 1'01.019

I'm hoping to get in the top 3! :D

il drink to that!

tuff240
And I'd be willing to bet that the guys going through t2 .5 faster than me aren't drifting much if at all through there. holl01? hot604boi?

sup tuff240, so far for my best lap that i have this week. i have 3 small drifts to my turns.

1. hairpin after t1
2. left turn after the hairpin
3. the long left uphiller

thing is i think i can get .200 off this best lap without the drifts

ive seen,
T1 0:25.95x cleanly a 3-4 times
T2 1.00.4xx 3-4 times too but just cant seem to pull it off

gonna be playin till i think i beat holl01

here update #1 of the day

T1 0:25.987
T2 1.00.495
i messed up on the long left uphill turn~ :yuck:

Final session for me:

Old: -----------------> New:
T1: 0'26.376 -------> T1: 0'26.306
T2: 1'00.776 -------> T2: 1'00.869

Just can't seem to repeat my 34.4 T1-T2 sector 👎
though, i did cross the line almost 1 tenth faster.
Time submitted.

Good luck to all those still racing right up to the deadline.

well, my other best was a judgement call(i couldn't see dirt, but it was close enough that in a different frame you might have) as to its legality....but this one is really clean so I don't have to worry. i was like a half car length behind at the line. slower times...but better piece of mind is worth giving up .07.

27.041 1'01.885

wish i hadn't blown my 26.444 lap, that was some potential. :yuck:

i just ran a lap where i didn't see my ghost til i slid off on the second right hander after t2....so close to the finish :indiff:

Not much room to improve for me. Guess I'll just submit my time before I pass out and forget sending my time out. :(

T1: 26:451
T2: 1:01.681

I let the Evo down... :guilty: :indiff: :nervous: 👎

OK time submited.

T1: 26.804
T2: 1.02.400

I have a replay with T3 0.2 better but its dirty ( I probably crossed white line after long left tuyrn with 3 wheels) so i had to submit my almost the best time :/
Anyway - that combo was hard for me :/ I wonder whats next ;)

gonna submit my time, hehe dun wanna make myself go crazy

cant duplicate my T1 time anymore, and i see certain parts t1-t2 that i catch up
but im doneeeee

good luck on the results for tomolo 👍

Time Submitted.
Had a struggle with this combo, though i never got totally frustrated by it. Set my fast time a few days ago and havnt been able to better it. Must admitt my consistency is better this week, just cant go any faster.

Good luck to all Racers 👍
(ps the red cars really do go faster, well it did for me this week :) )

Time submitted,

T1: 0'26.850
T2: 1'01.753

Just couldn't put a good lap together, this one included 3 occasions where I could say,

"Where's the apex? Oh, there it is way over there!"

Oh well, good luck to everyone and bring on the next race

Kolyana
DAMN! That was my problem; I drove white! CURSES!

Yes I only cottoned on to the red car thing after remembering CFM's picture on the
week 3 race info. Seems he knew it was quicker too :D . Good luck this week Nat.

Thanks RScosworth, and good luck to you too (as long as you don't beat 1'00.972) :sly:

hehe ill tell u a quick lil secret

itz all about the exit of hairpin #1
stay close to the right side of the track when u exit the hairpin
so you can take the left hander without having to brake, and sumtimes full-out~

hope this helps sum of you

Do you mean the very first corner?

Because the left turn after the first corner I always had to do a quick tap in order to clear the chicane....
