Now THAT seems rather silly ... I can understand it not allowing you to do anything else in GT mode, but to stop you playing Arcade mode, too? I'm losing a lot of respect for these Japanese game designers.

hOt6o4bOi
but, hehe why ds2 when i got the DFP :D
 to remind you why you got the DFP.

I haven't ran this race combo yet but I have always liked Autum ring and AR mini :) Great tracks for road cars. This should be a very fun combo 👍

Yikes,

7 days of a 700hp monster race car on a fast track and CFM throws us this combo...

👍

Nice!

It's like I'm back in the late 90's running soloII races in my long since gone '97 EclipseGS. Gonna take a little while to nail down this track but I say good combo indeed.

Here's my sectors from my 1st two sessions;

[1st 20 laps]----------[2nd 20 laps]
[T1] 27.832------------27.259
[T2] 1:04.139----------1:03.214

Got a lot of laps to go to keep competitive in this division :scared:

WHAT?????
I JUST BOUGHT ONE TODAY.......

I hope they are ok....
: Quote thingy buggering up......doh

I thought id ring sony before i returned it to my store..... Seems my model/batch number is due for a call back, apparently some faulty soldering on the motherboard.
How unlucky is that..... oh well, Sony Australia are bloody good, replacement arrives tomorrow.

👍

After 20 more laps I cut my times down to:

T1 - 26.636
T2 - 102.050

A little more respectable but I want to get into the mid 101's for sure :)

I had a stab at it after seeing hot...'s impressive times and i managed (with DS2)

26.185
1'00.550

but i looked at the replay and i realized that i cut it too fine in the opening right/left/right combination, so thats dirty to me utter dissapointment, hence i dont have any replays saved, but i think me best clean lap was

26.2xx
1'00.7xx

so i'm right there with u Hot. :sly:

I am in the same boat as Teledriel with Autumn Ring not being unlocked. For those with the same problem, I have found a reasonably quick way to advance thru the days.

Go into the License Center, select any license and then enter the first test. Just move from test to test using the "Next Test" option. This will advance the date for each test you enter.

Just FYI, the AutumnRing unlocks on day 281. Hope this helps someone.

Man, great times All. My first WRS race. So far I got...

T1 @ 26.934
T2 @ 102.407

I can't wait to see my name on the leaderboard, finally. even if it isn't a really fast time.

BTW, If you are in Div 2 come on down to the D2 Pits. It's simular to what Kolyana has done for D3. (great idea, i might add) Just to meet the other drivers in your division. Even if you aren't in D2 it's fine to pop in and say what's up.

T1-26.580
T2-1:02:068 (lost control and slid to outside of corner screwing me over by almost a second)
Div 3,DS2
I only ran about 25 laps

Except for the corner you slid on that's some fantastic driving!

Well as it is my B-Day today in Japan  , am going to call it an early day from work, and head home and get this track available.

Why thank you...I hope to move up to Div 2...but it doesn't matter...tomorrow I'm going to race here for at least 150 laps...then I'll quit..hopefully I'll have a final time in there somewhere...but school is tomorrow therefore I must bid you all a goodnight..

therat1989 just bidded you a good night
to reply to this "bidding" hit the "reply" button at the bottom of this post
thank you 👍

T1 - 26.483
T2 - 1'01.606

D1/DFP

I like a loose car, but this one is bordering on downright silly. I've never spent much time driving Evos nor have I spent much time on the Autumn Ring...but this is a very enjoyable combo. Nice one CFM!

Update people.

T1 26.180
T2 1'00.615

Using DS2 (tires SS front and rear)

I might be able to knock of a few tenths, but i'll wait and see if Hot... can beat it!

Could it be we found a track+car where drifting is faster than gripping? :D

This track is quite fun, expecially on a car that makes the rubber smoke almost everywhere but on a straight line (well, sometimes even then ;))

Here are my super-duper bad T times, after ~15 laps:

T1: 0'27.146
T2: 1'02.780

The Wizard.

A little off the pace tonight as I learn the track and car ... but I got distracted with a duff MaxDrive, so I'll probably just send it back tomorrow and concentrate on driving tomorrow.

"Could it be we found a track+car where drifting is faster than gripping?"

That's what I was saying, too. :)

Update after 20 more:

T1 - 26.655
T2 - 101.844

I reached my immediate goal for today.

Just had my first real go on this weeks combo, ran till the replay timed out.
T1 - 27.244
T2 - 1.02.941
I'm definatly liking this combo, having a lot more fun than last week. (well at the moment anyway) .But still over 2.3 sec slower at T2 than holl01 , aiming to get into the 1.01's, so i have a lot to find yet. Good Racing everyone !! 👍

Finally unlocked the circuit and put in 15 laps. I was so excited to finally get to practice, I completly forgot to tune and lighten the car :dunce: . Since I was at a 20% hp disadvantage, I don't feel too bad about these.

T1: 28.893
T2: 1' 06.938

Off to put in some more laps....

Forgot to add: Division 3/ DS2

Plus needed to update times:
T1: 27.777
T2: 1 '04.042

Started working on this, and now realized that I suck at it. What kinda jackass picked this combo, anyway???:ouch: I took a second off from my test session, but now I'm stuck, and will need alot of work to show my face amongst the D1 guys.

26.834 / 1:01.993

Off for a beer and a nap methinks.

Small_Fryz
T1: 26.510
T2: 1'01.452
Improved overall by .303

T1: 26.564
T2: 1'01.255

Improved by .059 (lost about .15 in last sector :( )

Wow, am I allowed to say this track is insanity personified?!?

Quite a bit different driving style than I'm used to racing, so I'm sure I'll continue to bring up the end of D3. We'll see what a week of practicing holds out. I can't wait to see what different lines people have through the first half dozen or so corners.

My splits so far are:

T1 27.770
T2 1'03.483

Division 3 racer with DFP

I've had a quick go at this and put a T2 together of a high 1'02. Seen a few places where I can make up some time and this combo's suiting me the best out of the three rounds for some reason, despite my hate of the Autumn Ring. I seem to be able to run consistent laps here, where I found my times greatly fluctuated in previous rounds. Hopefully this means moving up the list a bit.

Teledriel
Well as it is my B-Day today in Japan  , am going to call it an early day from work, and head home and get this track available.

Happy Birthday! 👍 Have a Kirin on me... (I'll reimburse you if you ever make it to London :sly: )

My best clean lap so far:-

T1 - 26.804
T2 - 1'01.720

I've done a 26.532 in T1, so I'm looking to go .3 faster in T2... :dopey:

TM

This is gonna be one of those weex for me.

I can see where i lose time all the way thru the lap, and ive seen T times that are 3 tenths faster across the board.

I get a different line into most of the corners on each consecutive lap, and i know after 15 laps or so, that i am gonna have to devote some serious time to this race to get anywhere where i need to be.

So, even tho i managed 3tenths quicker thru here, after a quick session, these were the only clean T's i had:

T1: 26.818
T2: 1'01.649

A write up on gear selection for speed thru the first section, and the last section leading onto the straight from Holl and HotBoi would be very good.... seeing as they are walking off with trophies all day, im sure they wouldnt mind sharing some of their racing finesse with us try harders?? Please?

This car is all about Torque steer, turbo control, and having a very light left foot!

Back to the drawing board.

Thanx for the combo Crunchy Frickin Marmalade....

I really need to work on my awd skills as I am having trouble with this car. I need to work on the transitions, my turn in and breaking points, and the proper exiting line. Thats what I love about the WRS, it alows drivers to get combos that do not suit their driving style or the ones that will push them and help them learn to drive certain cars/tracks that they previosly were not familiar with.

MY times after 30 or so laps
T1 27.007
T2 1'02.491

Happy Birthday Teledriel, enjoy your brews. My fastest lap last week came after a few tall cans last night. I think being good and buzzed gave me an edge for once insteed of just making me an excelent lawnmower and car crasher.

Did 20 or so laps last night and got this:

T1 0'26.871
T2 1'01.669

Good combination CFM 👍

Also, just out of interest, I've been experimenting with different tyre combinations. Managed to get alot less understeer with soft on the front and hard on the rear. (Ultimately it gave me slower laps though so not much use really) Soft all round seems to be the way to go.

No probs vexd,

for the opening right/left/left combination, just leave it in gear three so you can fling the car around. through this section, to get maximum speed, you have to put two tires on the grass.

and for the final bit, after the long hairpin, take the first quick left in fourth (two wheels on grass), brake down to third as soon as you hit the apex on the right, then drift out to the left a bit, then full throttle as you take the next right, back into fourth, and as far left as possible, brake down to third for the last right hander, and take the last left at full throttle.

hows that explanation, its pretty hard to describe really, but u get the basic idea. from dan.

Brillaint Dan, im doin the last sector just as you described but i leave it in 4th for the last right hander. Do you think its better to shift down to 3rd?.

Your first sector walkthrough is good i was in 4th for that section, lol, i will try 3rd now hopefully i can shave .4 off or so :).

Thanks mate
