GT4 WRS Week 30 : "Taming the beast"

Jimminy crickets! I'm flustered. This car is going too fast for it's lack of downforce. I'm consistently lapping about 10-12 seconds faster than my previous CLEAN best... But, my problem now, is the damn fast downhill ish section in the t7-t8-t9 area. The car just doesn't have enough downforce for me to get through there easily enough. Easily enough means out of the past two hours of driving tonight, I've managed probably 4-5 laps that are clean up until there! THAT HURTS! AHHHHHH!

I said I was going to continue until I had new clean times last night, but I was too tired. I'm not going to let that happen tonight. I need to put down a clean lap that is at LEAST 10 seconds ahead of my previous best. That would put my T10 somewhere between 6'21 and 6'24, lol. I'm going for it!

Argh. This hurts me.

After my third clean lap. I'm such a loser.

You're such a loser huh? Then what am I?! I'm on my SECOND clean lap so far. After probably 4-5 hours. I'm planning on going for 4 more minimum if I haven't already gotten to my goal. That SHOULD come in the next hour though, if not, waaaaah. I don't want to play for 5 hours all in one night...

Times submitted, well they're sorta times.Had literally hundreds of restarts and only a handfull of cleans.
Do ya notice that the first sector or two you push it to the max, then as sectors go by (if you're still on the track) you stop taking chanches, you start driving more conservativly until you're almost crawling at the end.
Times were horrible, a T10 of 6.31.524. May pick up a point or two as long as not too many people submitt this week.

This is going to be my worst showing in wrs EVER. I only ran 4 laps. The only positive I can get out of this is that 3 out of my 4 laps were clean, which isn't a bad conversion on this track driving an ocean liner.

Im submiting my reasonable time, i could be alot faster, but im just not in a good mood and sleepy to play anymore.

Theres about 2 seconds yet i can extract, but thats ok.

Congrats to all ya drivers in the next WRS´s, as this is my last one. 👍

i just remember of my T10 split, wich was 6'11.8 but i messed the ending.

Lol, that's how I SHOULD have been driving, but I finally just now put that to use... And came out with my third clean lap and my FASTEST lap ever, dirty OR clean. And I can see where I've lost at least 2 seconds by T10, and at least 2.5 by the finish... I finally decided to play it safe through that one section that kept giving me troubles, and I barely managed to keep it on.

T times for my soon to be submitted lap:
T2: 1'18.814
T6: 3'43.457
T10: 6'22.196

I finally managed a clean, half-way-decent-looking lap 👍

Which will probably put me at the bottom of Division 1 (if not 2 )

I don't care, though. It's been fun, nonetheless

I can't complain too much, since I only raced for two-three hours, total...

For the record my T10 was 6'24.797...

Well.. apparently from next week the times for submission are changing. which will confuse me soo badly. coz recently we had daylight saving to our time, which is good for us, but confusing :S
anyhow.. on business of WRS RACING ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I couldn't leave this combo alone.. but now i have 5 or is it 4 hours left now.. coz of daylight saving. Dion could help coz he understands world time thingy and i dont!

Had 2 exams the past 2 days. so tired. got another one on thursday. gives me a day break on wednesday. so why not use the whats left on tuesday to battle out this combo. see you guys at the results!!

lets see what time i can come up with 4 hours or so to go

first time I got to play since Wednesday.

I could do about 2 seconds more, but its not really worth the time since that'd lose by 2-3 seconds anyways. Too many irregular brake points in this really threw me off.

Well, I had a dirty lap (JUST BARELY) at 6.21.9 and just backed it up with another JUST DIRTY lap at 6'21.8. Finishes were within 0.07" of each other!!! WAAHHH!!!

My best otherwise clean lap is over FIVE SECONDS SLOWER!

I only wish it was just 3 laps. It's 3 complete laps. I must have had like 200+ starts. Okay, maybe not that many. Maybe only 75ish. Only 25% of them hit T6.

dont worry you aren't the only person in that boat... i had a 2 hour shot yesterday and didn't complete a clean lap... submitted a time yesterday coz i was so frustrated at it... i had a t least 5 seconds in my lap still i saw a T10 of 6'18 on a dirty lap... couldn't whereas my T10 time on my clean lap was in the 6'20's...

hmm, now that´s strange... its not just you and veil, i´ve heard that from others too... i´m still 100% on GT, but it seems that this GT4 will not last much...

don´t know what happened... for me GT2 lasted 4 years and GT4 will last until GT5 cames out... but it looks like the crowd will be a tad smaller in one year or two...
