Well that's good news, considering how fast your T2 is... :sly: Lol. My finish isn't my strongest either, so I guess I can't say that that lap has my fastest splits, but it does have my fastest T1 and T2 splits... :)

Put a metal sieve on your head and hide under the table children, because momma's just updated the leaderboard.

@NielsG ... man it has been a while since you've raced, eh? Welcome back 👍

Argh! I need to go... I should've stopped playing at least a half an hour ago... Crapola! I'm SO FAST. But didn't put it together. Dangit! Current clean splits are quite a bit faster, but only a couple hundreths faster at the line!

I think I'm going to be making some competition for whoever thinks they're going for first in D2 though... :sly:

Too bad Pat sat down for a little over an hour and smacked my last fastest lap by almost four tenths... And then he didn't save it! Little did he know that that would've put him in third overall...

i think i used default top speed, and that long sweeping right after T1, i severly drifted it, i figured out that on entry, u should drift it in 2nd gear, and then idle it for a moment to get grip in third gear on exit, and i also semi drifted the other corners in T1-T2, actually, i pretty much drifted all corners except 2nd last and last

all these sub 50s t2s.. had no time to race over weekends. working and other stuff! hopefully get a last run on monday.

Had a quick run and slashed my old time:

T1: 0'18.542
T2: 0'50.589

This included a lightning fast finish. Don't know how much lower I can go but I'm gonna try 👍

Thanks Kolyana. :)

I wish, I could use the old rusty excuse, but I've been racing as much as ever. ;) There's so many cool races out there and so little time, so the WRS has been sat on hold.

But as Cyril points out, there's some combos you just can't miss. :D

question for fasj;

whats this 230 you mention?

are you guys tinkering with the gear ratios if so wheres the fairness in all of this?

Before you run laps, you can set up the top speed ratio just like the power and weight ratios. Set the power to +20% and drop that weight to -10%. You can set the top speed to whatever suits you best but it seems the popular one is 230kph.

well its the gear setting... in the tunning screen if you set this to 230 means that the top speed of the car will be obtained in 5th gear, at 230kpm...

That's exactly why I didn't spend my weekend trying for a podium spot this week (like I really had a chance anyway).Spent half Friday and all Sat. detailing my Chevelle for a car show today, a very worthwhile choice as it turns out. Brought home the coveted "Peoples Choice" trophy. Amazing considering the car that came in second was a pristine '67 Mustang, brought from out of state in a trailer complete with a 3 man team and chrome mirrors set all along the ground to see underneath. The car is NEVER driven, for show only. These guys were such a**es, they acted like they were doing everyone a favor by showing up. Walking past these guys on my way to pick up my trophy was the most fun I ever had.
Anyway , sorry to jump off subject, just had to tell someone. I'll go try to better my times now.

Got some time in on this.. little late, but it's very fun.

Ah man, Super late... I hope I have time to race. Anyways nice combo man...Italian cars are my specialty :dopey: . Well...lets see how far I can go. Oh yea nice splits guys! 👍

HOLY COW! You guys are flying this week. Good job all! I'm taking a bit of a break this week and maybe for a bit. Still driving but so far I think I've only put in a couple of hours and I think my T2s are in the high 50.Xs.

I'll probably put my monkeys to work a bit tomorrow but I'll be reserving a room at the D1 Caboose Cafe! :^)

Eeek out!

A worthwhile story Drew and congratulations! I hate a-holes and I'm sure glad that you had the chance to rub it in their faces a little. Jerks.

Worthwhile indeed! Congrats! Pretty sweet car eh? You going to show us some pictures? In another thread maybe?

Anywho... AAAAAHHHH!!!! Ok, remember how I said I would be going for it? Nah... Nevermind... Don't have that much time on my hands... The stuff that I was thinking was so hot, is definitely not so hot anymore. Ouch you top D2 guys are coming on strong... Oh well, tis to be expected I guess, I'm only a fresh D2'er, shouldn't have though about getting lucky quite yet... I'll have another go, and actually try to finish ahead of my ghost, but I don't feel well today, and I work tomorrow... Time's a limited!

What time does this have to be submitted PST? I guess I'll have a look...

Crazy racing guys, straight crazy. Well done! :scared:

lol shig speed! I dont know whether to put a few more hours in and get one more second off my time or just submit the darn thing right now!! as i got a poker game on 2nyte, its a perfect excuse not to race :P!

I might give it a go 2moro night.. see whats what... Ahhh racing under pressure u gotta love it.
All you d2'ers like to make me look really slow dont ya!! Im gonna get ya back randy after i finished my final exam :P, but i am very impressed with your times mate! congrats.

it is all down to you mate coz i have already submitted my time... i was getting too frustrated trying to get those last couple of tenths out of theold girl, and she is super tricky to keep smooth with the DFP... we shall see tomorrow...

Yeah, your T times are very impressive, keep it this way.
Instead of practising on Autumn Ring this week-end, I've taken a look at the recent results, and if the times submitted this week confirm my conclusions, there will be promotions tomorrow. 👍
