GT4 WRS Week 33 : "All Japan GT Championship"

heh... i submitted mine as well... hopefully my strong finish will nick you at the line again.

I'm sure you will... I bet I might not do better than fourth place this week. Judging by Electric's T3 cumilative time, and what you and shockwave here are probably running, I think I'll be behind the three of you. Electric's time is, what, .1ish behind me? I KNOW I lost way more than .1 in that last turn. Meh. Oh well, that's that. dunno how much time I'm going to spend next week... I'm tired, and have been working on the real car of late. 👍

Submitting some God awful time (Again).

I'm really not a fan of these multi-lappers, or GT mode. Bring back the Arcade Time Trials!

I only ran for about an hour this week. I had another quick go this after noon, got 1.5 seconds up on my previous best first lap, but threw it away on the second, so I did the only thing I do well, gave up.

well, i went to those proms. was fun, but i got nothing! stupid girls and stupid me for being so dumb with them

well, back to GT, i tried last night for an hour or so... really missing all the lines and brakes in motegi... had some 1´18´s and good first laps but couldn´t put togheter in one race.

at least, was very helpful to give me some experience in motegi, since we will be running this later in the JGTC series... i need all the experience i can get in this track...

for me is still a lot different to race in a track like trial mountain, that i know for 7 years, and have millions of laps there than to race in a track that i´m starting to get the feel now...

i know, that´s right.
everyweek i have to stop by to give a little excuse for not living up to my expectations... but one thing is for sure. i don´t give up. i´ll get a win here even if i have to play thru week 1033!!!

yeah i finally cracked a 1'19 through T3 on lap 1 so i was happy with that... always lost time through the hairpin before T3 though

my splits from my submitted lap time

Lap 1
T1: 35.089
T2: 58.928
T3: 1'19.331

Lap 2
T1: 28.484 (was slow through here)
T2: 52.255 (not too bad)
T3: 1'12.739 (had seen 12.2)

yeah i have broken that second barrier only twice though, one time i broke it by .2 once with an insane 1'17.987 t3 split on lap 1! too bad i ruined the first corner of the second lap.

I sure wish I could see how you drive Motegi! I know that I am making time robbing errors on the last 2 sectors out of habit, but don't know where?
I have lost races before on this track in the same places. I need to learn!!!

I think maybe it's time I chipped my PS2 and got a PAL version GT4, so I can watch all the replays I want. 👍

BTW, I have found that chasing faster ghosts has been very instructive in finding where I have lost time, and where I can improve. I don't know if anyone else does this, but it helps me.

Been busy, misses wanted to change the bedroom round and it took a while to locate the joists. j/k!

Actually it took ages to disentangle all the wires,cables,leads,sensors,plugs and surge strips that were perfectly organised when i put the pc where it used to be.

The tangle-fairies had been very busy!

There is no way as far as I know, but daan used to make videos from the best replays in the GT3 WRS.
And then everybody can watch the lap.
