You guys are somewhat masochists. Almost 300hp on N tyres, making the rear end of the car try to go past the front end in every turn and we have 50% more submissions then the previous weeks  Big congrats to everyone who tamed the car 👍

Excellent racing everyone!

I'm happy to have stayed within 1 second of the winner.

Also glad to see a healthy turn out.

Definately one of the best races I've run in the last month or so (atleast). :sly:

Later.

Btw, close there jump and wiz, maybe next time. :mischievous:

Just playing. :guilty: :D

Great race guys 👍

I knew I would have seen times into the 1'24's, but not so low

My replay, just for the sake of tradition, will be up later.

I thought I would have done better, but apparently the competition was tougher than I thought it would be.

The Wizard.

@iceman :
I found your PM, with 1'24.867, I'll update the board. Sorry.
Did I skip anyone else ?

@T13R :
I just found yours too. I'll update the board again.

I'm afraid I missed some others too, please keep posting there if you submitted and your name doesn't appear.

Great times from all, and congrats to the goldies!👍 👍

Knew i should have pushed for that extra .2, would have beaten Drew by 0.001.

And just got ya again Cyril

Well done all!

And a GT-Mode week being 50% up on submissions......Hmmm......(rubs chin thoughtfully)......?;)

Neil

I typoed in my submission, it was a .667. I'll get my replay in a sec here because this might look a little fishy.

Here is my replay. XPort PAL. I hope it's the right one.

Yeah, I really thought I had you, when your T2 was about a tenth higher than mine and when I did the last section of the track stronger than in any other laps I had done so far.

I knew you would have gone for that half second barrier (1'25.500), since you are always talking about going the extra mile to get below a certain time, but I thought my 1'25.321 was good enough :D

Anyway, better luck next time.

Very close race 👍

I just noticed, too, that I managed to stay within one second of the lowest time, so I guess I didn't do so bad, after all. Expecially not for my first race after countless races I have been away.

The Wizard.

Crazy times there from Curtis and ZikWik... I knew I lost some time from T2 to finish, but I didn't think it would be that much! Very nice, will be cool to see the replays.

Here's my replay of 1'24.667:

Well I got another silver very happy about that. What I"m not happy about was T1 and that freakin' concrete BULL**** that slowed me down, I did some laps with cutting it just a little bit like a tire's width just to see...and I broke a minute many times and got a 1:24.8xx even...but alas it was dirty. So I'm writing a complaint letter to Sony and PD...lol. Well anyway was a good week, very much enjoyed the N tires my first time on them. I am going to practice this combo some more when I get my wheel in this week 👍 Nice win Curtis buddy just excellent! And great time Fabio, Ben and Andrew I got left in the dust! *cough*

Just a side note for example purposes but...

1'24.958 - shockwaveracing

1'26.933 - Steve57
1'26.949 - GTrackd02
1'26.950 - BuzzOrHowl

Should have all been included in the "gold" section by using a subjective system within the existing division system.

"Should" is a funny word though.

Again, great race, had a blast.
Talk with you all again soon,
Till then,
-

Edit:
Btw, Wiz,
Thanks for giving me credit by predicting I would go for the .5 mark. 👍
I wouldn't want it any other way. :sly:

Yeah, I knew you would :D

And the part above the Edit just proves it even more

By the way, I think I sort of agree with your more subjective method, though, now that I see it.

All the people that went the extra mile to break the 1'25.000 (or the 1'27.000) barrier should be rewarded with a gold medal in their own division.

Math is a good thing, but it can be mean at times... ;)

EDIT: Here is my replay, too, by the way.

ELEVEN times within a second of the winner? Unreal...

Would have figured that on a track this technical with a GT mode race on N tires it'd be more wide open.

Great competion! Congrats to those who could hang with the fast guys.

Amazing, how could I miss Silver by .029,I could see a cutoff at a tenth of a second, but a hundreth of a second!! Those are some tight tolerances. Great job everyone, sorry Neil, I feel your pain, 2 tenths is close, but imagine missing by 1/10th. of that, the length of a small ant! Well Cyril ,Neil, and myself will soon reside in Div.3...at least we'll be fast for our Division for a change.

Wow! Those are some great times up there in Div 1!
How's the view from way up there anyway? :D

Congrats to all those in the top spots this week!
Figured I'd be somewhere closer to top 5 myself but considering the issues I was having w/this weeks car/track combo, I'm happy with where I finished!

Cheers-

I hope so too... Jerome, pretty please!!! :dopey: I promise you the next race we'll swap spots and you can be .1 ahead of me, ok? (I think you deserved to do better, that T1 is the only thing that really held you back)

Just checked SimonC's and ROB 256's replays and they are both squeaky clean 👍

I knew the third sector would be determining for the victory but I didn't expect you to be that fast :scared: !!! If only I didn't push that hard on the brake pedal before the last corner :ouch: !!! Anyway, congratulations to you Hot and to all the competitors 👍 !!! A second place for my first participation in the WRS is a very good result for me :) !

Great race, Great turn out of racers for a tricky little combo.
Well done all 👍

I would like to dedicate this race to Andy Caldecott, who died as a result of a
high speed crash from his KTM factory bike on Stage 9 of the Dakar Rally.
He was a four time winner of the Australian Safari Rally, a great bloke who
passed away doing what he loved to do.

VALE Andy

I checked the following replays:

  • [*] hOt6o4bOi
    [*] icemanshooter23
    [*] TheWizard
They're all clean.

Couldn't convert Kent's .sps to a .max file using PS2save-builder for some reason and ended up with corrupted data on my MC. :(

P.S.: What a great lap, hOt! You had the least drifts in your lap, guess that secured you the #1 spot. :dopey: 👍
