This is what i do.

Turn off the ps2 completly for 15 - 20seconds then have the disc in and power it up. Works 95% of the time. A normal reset hardly ever works for me.

Only ever had the MD disk fail to read twice, and a quick opening/closing of the lid and then a reset cured it both times.

So got nowt really to add to the previous ideas, sorry!

Yeah, I don't remember where exactly, but I wrote somewhere that I'm posting combos that I find challenging and interesting, and that it seems that many people like them (that is, except this week ), but that's not the kind of combos that I like to race. Weeks 31 (Stratos), 34 (Impreza) and 35 (Audi/VW) were combos I enjoyed racing, but not the other ones.
Yet, I must say that I enjoyed stewarding every week I posted so far. I find it much entertaining to race 20 different combos between 1 and 20 laps each to find a well balanced one, rather than racing 100 laps on the same combo.

Confirmation by a trusted member is an accepted way of verifying in the community 👍 , only make sure you solve the problem

Another PAL replay for you misterweary 👍, Just dont look at the T1, better yet imagine the T1 was a 28.0 and then cut .4 off T2 and T3 👍

Seriously though, i was happy with everything from T1 - Finish.

hehe... im pretty on the edge as well, but looking at those pics of the tires barely touching the rumble strips, looks like im good (as i have 1/4 of both tires touching on at the concrete complex)... one thing that does worry me is the cobble stone after the first corner, thats a rumble strip right? i didnt see it discussed in the thread

Very nice laps guys. And yup skillracer you were "fairly" close to the edges, but not really that close if you know what I mean. 1/4 tire doesn't even warrant a photomode stop around here........hehehe.

It was a pleasure viewing both silver type-V '01's. Both laps were controlled and fast, with nice proper lines.
As the results showed both racers drove virtually identical laps. KLR142 was ever so slightly ahead at T2 as both cars came through the tunnel charging down the hill towards the ultimate corner. The tale of the tape turned out to be that final corner. Skillracer managed to carry an extra 5mph thru the corner with a nice exit and then proceeded to reel in KLR142 in the drag race down the home straight to take a come from behind victory by .023! What's .023? Bumper paint!

Well done gentlemen.

You should be more optimistic Sjaak : 16/36 is by far the best percentage we ever had in the WRS.
Can you name another series which gets 44% of submitted times backed up with replays ? (except series which make providing a replay compusory of course)
