Sorry mates, but with all what's going on here, I'm definitely not in the mood to post a new race today.

Again, I'm sorry

A little bit more

How serious and sad veil's decision can be, the show must go on : the world won't stop and neither will the WRS.

Yeah I know, we're having 2 GT mode races on city tracks in a row. But the extra 200hp provided my the GT mode make such a big difference that it would be a pity not to use it, and after a lot of testing, Seattle was one of the best tracks to unleash all this power. Other tracks were as good as this one, but I have other plans for them :)

You had me going there Flat' ... I was about to post a "The show must go on!" type of post :P

Nice car ... I'm on Seattle a lot nowadays, it seems, but I really like the track, so I'm looking forward to this.

Ha Ha Ha!

And there are some who say the French have no sense of humour! :D :D :D

Sounds like a fun combo Cyril!

Sounds like fun, albiet a little scary, i mean, ~725bhp on concrete! :yikes:

Monsieur, with these GT mode city races you are really spoling us 👍

England and France have been the best enemies in the world for almost a millenium, so it's always a pleasure :D

As you'll soon discover, concrete is not the problem. Walls are the problems, and especially turn 1, that damned chicane at the end of the straight.

Had a little 30 minute dabble with this one. I'm not usually keen on the combos with the really powerful cars (hence me voting for the BMW 320i Touring Car for this week) but the M3 is surprisingly well behaved for a 726 hp beast. Anyway, here's some opening splits:

T1 - 0'17.102
T2 - 0'54.722

Surprisingly is the word.
Even on medium tyres with 700+ hp, it's really swift in the 90° corners.

You're sure you ran on mediums, aren't you ?
The splits during my testing sessions were way slower than that. I know I'm a crap driver, but that's really a big time difference

Err....GT Mode...Why Flat-O, WHY?!

Still, I'll be back soon with some T-T-Times

Because :
1) this car is far more enjoyable in GT Mode than in Arcade Mode ;
2) it fits my plans for future weeks better to have another GT mode race now.

Yeah, it's mighty in the corners. Should be even better after a bit of settings tuning. I am definately using the meds though. I just start off quick that's all. I usually do most of my improving in the first 30mins or so, then spend the rest of the week chasing tenths here and there.

Thanks, I was worried because I didn't want to do that series again to win the car. :)
There's a typo in my post : you must read ...you can turn NO2 off...
But you had corrected by yourself already.

Well, it seems there is quite a lot going on here, here lately. And it also seems that a lot of things have been said about it, so I won't say anything more about it.

Anyway, I finally took the big step and got myself a DFP - this was Saturday, January the 21st. I haven't tried it out with GT4, yet, as I don't have a table or a surface to connect the steering wheel to, yet. I did try it with Live for Speed, though, attaching it to my computer desk.

I gotta say it truly is amazing
I would have never thought it made such a difference in the driving experience. I don't even have the words to describe it :D

Anyway, I think this WRS week will be my practice ground (as soon as I get myself something to hook the wheel to), so expect bottom Division 8 times from me :D

Later.

Okay, I have the board up and running ... Rob, you're dop dog, dude 👍 :P
 Yeah, for all of about 5 mins till the big boys start posting. Oh well. Anyway good to see you back racing. Didn't know you'd taken over the leaderboard duties. Where is Luxy these days?

flat-out
Finally someone I can compete with :D

I know it's off topic (kinda) and I know it's just a reply for the hell of it, but it made me laugh so much I don't care...

Great!

I've been doing the leaderboard for the last three months :(

Before that, Luxy had handed on to Small_Fryz, so the last time Luxy really had time for it was easily 6 months ago.

But aside from that, you're BANG up to date :P

Done a quick 20 laps or so, and getting rid of some rage (nowt to do with things on here)

After some minor setting changes.(mainly springs down to 10.5 F&R,dampers down to 3(B) & 6(r) front and rear)
Brakes @6 & 5
No driving aids

T1 17.256
T2 56.727 (with some mistakes, but clean)

I have seen some 55's at T2 but keep getting thrown into the left-hand wall either when landing the 1st jump or when the front just doesn't come down after the second one :banghead:

This really reminds me of the GT40 special licence in GT3, but with more grip! Lots of fun!👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Ashley.
Gotta be kidding 2 GT mode in a row!

:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Man, this wouldn't be so much fun in arcade-mode, plus only minor changes are needed, if any at all. I just did what I did to make it ride the curbs better, and ride the railway track better.

I agree with what Neil says ^
Don't change the settings and you'll have the arcade car +100kg and +200hp. 👍

I decided not to change the settings this week, it's all to hard. I'm treating this like arcade mode.

T1 - 16.734
T2 - 54.253

Hopefully I can get about...0.5 in total off my lap and I'll be H-H-Happy!
