So, Cyril... TOP NOTCH JOB MAN! Seriously. This week's race was great in SO many ways.
Let me elaborate:
-You used THE track.
-You allowed us to pick our own cars
-You set up the race for pretty much ANY of the cars could be competitive
-You included the suggestion that we race against ONE car
-You included the AWESOME MGs that I suggested we try out sometime
-You balanced it out that EACH car was able to compete with each other
-You made it so each and every of the cars does not feel like it's overpowered/under-tired, like they normally do when we bump up power 20%
And that's all that I can think of right now. But seriously.
Considering that the MG was the car I suggested back in the day, and it looks the best by FAR, I picked it. I had a hunch that one of the Toyotas might be faster, I noticed immediately that it was smoother and easier to drive, but I stuck with my MG for the above reasons. It's the COOLEST!
BTW, nice choice Kent!

Fast time was a 8'24.xxx but turned out dirty by 1 tire in the grass
Ran the Mazda Miata 1800cc 04'
indeed! Very well done man! I tried that car out, and found that it could possibly be fast, but was just WAY too unsettled for some odd reason. Of the Miatas, I also drove the '98, an the '95 VR-Limited. The '98 carried the same oversteer obsession at higher speeds that the '04 did, and the '95 seemed nicely balanced, unlike the other two, but just wasn't fast enough in a straight line. I definitely wasn't expecting the '04 to be sooooo damn fast though!!! ๐ ๐
Yeah. Kickass stuff right there. I have a new policy. Whenever I run a fast, clean race/lap, I save it in two places, once on my main memory card, and once on the memory card that I now have for JUST replays. That way, I don't have to pick through many, if any replays to get uploaded onto my max drive. Also, I noticed something about the max drive... The picture it very darkly shows when looking at the replay files, is the SAME picture that GT4 uses when you look at your replays. I never knew that!!!
