Well, it's been a wonderful ride. Haven't missed a race since Week 10, but this week's race just wasn't in the cards for me. Damn whoever tricked me into running a parallel series!! Grr...

Anyway, since WRS4 began I've submitted 52 times with 3 division wins (one in D1, 2 in D2) and 2 D1 2nd places - not terribly bad, not an alien... Next up is holl01 and Casio with 43 finishes each, then MisterWeary, KLR142, and hOt with 40, 39, and 39.

I'll try to get back in it next week with the three lapper though! Don't plan to miss many more, but now that the streak has ended, it may be easier to tear away from it more often. Hope not cuz it's been grand and should continue to be so.

See you all soon!

first, well, that would be me:dopey: and i also had a good streak before i had to move in the end of last year... then after that i´m picking my spots, only doing the combos i like more because i ended up entering a lot of series... but i plan on keeping only JGTC and more WRS after the DTM and the BC are done...

Time submitted to Cyril 2 mins ago!

Last minute effort, but well worth it for a change. Took over 8 seconds off the overall previous best and got a faster fastest lap too!

3'07.291 on the last lap no less!
T6's
L1 2'46.826
L3 2'40.645
L6 6'06.728 (pitted end L5)
L7 2'40.144

Split total 11'14.343
Top speed setting was at 410, fastest sustainable speed on the straight is 220/221 mph. The powerband of this car peaks at around 6.5 thou, so, 390 is slower (217/218mph), 400 is just slower (219/220mph ),420 is slower too (219/220mph).
The maximum drifting speed I have seen on 2 occasions was 239/240mph, average of 230ish mph.

Well, I haven't had time since Sunday to improve my times, and it's pretty close to the deadline right now, so I'm just going to submit what I have... Sounds like BallstotheWall has improved his times, and will probably win the division -- so congrats in advance. :)

Time Submitted.

EDIT: Just discovered what might be a MAJOR problem -- the replay file is 110KB, and the largest upload GTP will accept is 100KB. How are we going to upload our replays this week?

Zip it or mail it to me.

Flat-out
Zip it or mail it to me.

Tried WinZIP... It won't compress a .max file, because it's already compressed. The ZIP file actually winds up being a few bytes larger...

Edit: So how do we e-mail our replays to you? I just looked at your profile, and I can't find your e-mail address (but it's quite possible I'm not looking in the right place.)

Strange, Laurence!

Mine, once Max'd is only 85.9Kb.

We'll have to play it by ear I suppose.

Might be an NTSC/PAL issue?

Neil

Time submitted. No Improvement on last splits so I guess I'll be making up the numbers again. :)

Looks like there's been a few WRS veterans snooping around this week, lets hope a few of them post a time, it'd be nice to see how I stack up against some (out of shape ) old hands. 👍

That's all folks, I'm off to see if I've got that scooby ready to go?

My e-mail address is flatout at free dot fr
Just replace what's underlined by the required character (not posted to lure robots). I'll then upload it on my website and post a link in the thread.

BTW, due to the family visiting us this week, I won't be able to post the results in 30 minutes, it'll take me an extra 12 hours.
Deadline doesn't change : I'll use GTPlanet time as mentioned in the PM to determine when the deadline was reached.
Sorry for that mates.

Sorry, no offence meant, :sly:

You might be heavier then me but you're still faster. :)

For now. :sly:

Edit: Just checked the board. Seems you might be carrying some ballast.

Dan the man told me earlier in the week...it's because if you used the wheel it stores extra data. So DFP users will be >100kb DS2 users <100kb 👍

Oh and no dramas about the results Cyril, we all appreciate the time it takes to run this series so in your time buddy :) 👍

Check my latest splits, one page back! Post #154 I think it is............

total split time = 11'14.343!:P

And Colby, I use a DFP and my replay's 86Kb........strange:crazy:

Maybe it depends on how fast you are! :sly:

Neil

I hope that's a 3'06 on lap six, if not that's alot of ballast.

Oops!:dunce:

Yeah, it's lap 6. Pitted at end of L5.

And no offence taken by me, at all.
Really!
I'm quite chilled at the moment cos of the painkillers the doc's given me for my disintegrating knees, mind you they do make me a jittery and make my vision a little blurry too.
Bloody miracle I can multi-lap race really, I've got the attention span of a retarded goldfish at the moment

Ok just in time(I hope:nervous:), here are my times.

L1 T6-2:45:207
L3 T6-2:44:007

L7 T6-2:42:700

I could not get online sents the 26th so I hope my time is still good:nervous:.

Hey Dan. I found something you're not beating me yet with :sly:

Just curious Shig. Now who holds the current record for the most consecutive submissions? I've only missed 1 since week 9, week 38, because I slept in 4 minutes too long (I'm still kicking myself, I would have got a D2 win...Argh!).

I'm sure someone is at more then 39-54 (15).
