New splits:

T1: 0`21.111
T2: 0`49.610

This is such a cool combo 👍

some new splits, pulled a second off of my PB...

T1: 21.008 (20.7xx)
T2: 48.747 (48.3xx)

hope to take another 0.5-0.7 off of my final time

WAH HOOO!!! I've been waiting for the GT car!!! And New York -- not my favorite US street-track, but still a very good one!!

This week is going to be FUN!!

@ Kent -- you're going to LOVE Half-Life 2. It's an AWESOME game! :)

Didn't think I'd get this much time off already, nearly another second off my total lap. Half a second slower to T1 so I know I can go quicker. 👍

T1 21.877
T2 50.914

Quick reply here before I take a look at my PMs and start to put the results for week 58 together (final results will be posted in about 20 hours).

I chose -10% to avoid having a totally unrealisticly overpowered car. 2006 specs V8 engines develop roughly 750 hp for a total weight of 605 kg (driver included). We're far from the 900+ hp of last year's engines.

As for the track, well, F1 @ New York had been suggested by Kyle a few months ago, I found it really good and it has been in my book since that time.
Thanks Kyle ;)

I spend a good deal of time in Manhattan, but I have never seen smooth pavement like this! Serious pot holes and raised man hole covers are the rule, not the exception...

Love this combo. 👍

About 30 min into it:
T1 - 20.270
T2 - 48.639

I think I may be losing a little bit of time in the really tight corners just after T1, but I need to go back again later if I have time to iron it out and about 48.1 or 2, great combo Cyril! I' guessing we can't say our final time then? Well let me say I wish I could trim another .2 off my lap...lol for a 'big' second barrier ;)

Seems like every lap my time goes down by .4 secs, even if my split times dont, anyway, here's what I have so far.

T1 - 21.671
T2 - 50.382

Ahh...DAMMIT!! I could have swore I read the post right, I had +10 and -10 but I ran my lap on Mediums I think, I"ll double check and may have to rerace...ugh!Yeah, well I ran with RM's....:dunce: o well prolly no more time this week to race o well, have fun guys this is one awesome combo!

All the tires have the same grip for the F1 I think, at least I'm pretty sure they do.

I'd be inclined to think that too, if Jerome can get a 48.6 on RMs.

Well if the tires aren't the same its really REALLY close then, I spent another half hour and am about .1 behind at the end. Still no faster t2 but got a 20.1 a few times. Alright Ben let's see how bad u beat my time :) We should live race again with Dion and the boyzz that is always a kick!

Jerome

Interesting... He did have 20% more power than he was supposed to though, so that might make up for it, IF the tires are not the same anyway.

Flat-out

I did? Hmmm, lol, I don't remember. Maybe I did when we were talking about using the FGT again, and I might've mentioned that the track would be good for some fast stuff and hadn't been used much/at all... :) I guess that means I have to race then, eh?!? 👍

Will have a quick go in a bit. Not sure how much time I'll be able to put in, but I'll do something half decent at the least.

You DUNCE!!! Don't give me that crap. Spend another half an hour and we'll be gravy. No whining, just do it. I'll do it, so you do it. K?

Ok, good. It appears you haven't decided to give up on the week... :)

Okay I *may fine more time this week but not until the weekend I would imagine, but I did only put my hp to 10% I dbl checked everything but looks like it doesn't make a diff now. And I guess the ball is in ur court Kyle :sly:

Laters everyone.

Oh, so it's between you and me, eh? Well, make sure that's NEGATIVE 10% on the power... :sly:

Ok, just starting my session now, we'll see what happens...

Thankyou Z., and do you have a low mile Supra RZ on this save.
I have wanted one so bad.

No problem. Actually, it appears there's 1 low-mile Supra in there, but the color leaves much to be desired (Grayish Green Mica Metallic). It's got 0 miles . . . I'm thinking I must have purchased it after loading up AR MAX with a code to buy all the cars for something like 1 credit/per. Big time-saver when I got into the used car part of completing the garage.

Anyhow, that particular car has 331HP opposed to 299HP on the used car. I can only warn you to be careful using some of those cars (I'm sure the Supra isn't the only one like this in that garage) for an OLR . . . my guess is you'd have just a bit of an advantage. :dunce:

That said, enjoy your showroom-condition Supra. 👍

Cool race. Combo' kinda reminds me of the ol' Australian GP in Adelaide.

Except much better. Because there are no South Austalians to be seen  :sly:

Only joking mate :)

Meh. Down to a 52.3ish. Jerome, I think you're going to have me taken care of this week if you get a clean, and proper lap in. I've never been a great one for these high speed, ultra quick reflex things... That's always been your thing though, aka the R8 and such... Don't think I'll have time to put in a challenge for ya! Doh!

Well, here are my first splits for this week... RSS tires, 340 gears.

T1: 21.839
T2: 52.795

I'm obviously pretty fast through T1, but just can't seem to "Git 'R Done" in the T1 to T2 stretch... Too many curbs. :) If I can just manage to get the line 100% correct through there, and not touch any of the curbs (I hit 4 of them on this lap!) then I know I can get down to the 50.xxx range... (Oh, and I need to stop spinning the damn tires in 3rd gear, too. :sly:)

Looks like I'll probably sit this one out as I haven't had a chance to play and build up any cash after spending it all on the Civic last week that I didn't even like driving...
Shame - I remember the F1 car from before my old memory card died and it was wonderful. I never got to drive it with the DFP either...

To the Nordschleife...!

Woow... Long time since I hung around here :-)

Haven't touched my GT4 in about 7 months. My last week in WRS was I think week 30 or something. Anyway, yesterday I thought, why not give the WRS another go. I found my way back here, only to discover that this week's race is with the F1 car :-O After 7 months of inactivity... LOL, last place, here I come :-p

After about 30 mins I had a T2 of 52.404
RS5 tyres, TCS system only and gearing was 350 I believe

I dunno Kyle ur a fast learner that is for certain, u have all week to pass me, u'll get it 👍
I also was using 370 gearing I *think* and it seemed to redline just a lil bit at the end of the straight I believe, fyi.

Wow. Who stuck a rocket up my backside? Top of Division 2, for now anyway. 👍

It won't last long so I'll enjoy it while it lasts. :)

410 gearing to get rid of some of the wheelspin, RSS tyres and no aids.

And yes, I am running -10% power.

F1 , laps to follow in the next couple of days :mischievous:

I think you are right, for some reason I don't think it makes a difference which tire you choose as during a saved replay it will show up as RM/RM even after choosing RSS/RSS.
